so i was doing a quick walkthrough of the oden flashback when i came along the sea kings prophecy, i didn't give it much thought when i first read it in the weekly release, but now it's suddenly became interesting, especially when wondering about the identity of the second sovereign.
here's some basic data i collected:
oden joined roger 26 years ago.
about half a year later, in the way to fishmen island they heard sea kings prophecy about two sovereigns getting born in the future.
ten years for shirahoshi, but where the second will be born is not revealed.
roger said that a sovereign will be born and surpass them, so said sovereign should be below the age of 26 years.
oden said that pirates leaders of their generation will come to wano, and they will defeat kaido and open wano's borders, so one of them must be that sovereign aka the figure that the world awaits.
alright, so we have some standards the next sovereign must meet:
- bellow the age of 26
- male
- leader of the new generation: worst generation/supernova
- met shirahoshi
- be present in wano exactly 20 years after oden's death
- this one is a secret, just keep reading
okay, let's start with the age:
worst generation/supernova ages:
1- uroge: 47
2- capone bege: 42
3- blackbeard: 40
4- x-drakes: 33
5- apoo: 31
6- hawkins: 31
7- killer 27
8- law: 26
the people mentioned above are all 26 years old or older, so they don't fit in the prophecy. sorry about that!!
and i won't be counting jewelry bonney cause she's 24 based on her look but she might be even older than that, also she's a female. sorry about that!!
so we're left with:
1- luffy: 19
2- zoro: 21
3- kidd: 23
all of these three mofo's have a very important thing in common which is: they all have "conqueror's haki" the true quality of a king.
one of them will be the next sovereign that sea kings prophesied about.
so far they're:
-males
-below the age of 26
-supernova
-currently in wano country, exactly at this moment after 20 years of oden's death.
-have CoC
BUT, there's a standard that's not met by one of them, which is, to have met shirahochi, luffy and zoro already met her, so that leaves kidd out of the equation, there's no mention of kidd meeting shirahoshi, and even if he met her in the future it wont matter by then, so kidd's out, sorry about that!!
zoro and luffy fulfill all the standards, and so they are the main candidates of being the next sovereign...
personally i think it's luffy, because zoro has nothing to do with that business, he's only interested in his way of the sword and being the strongest swordsman, he couldn't bother with finding the one piece or guiding a mermaid goddess, while luffy is being groomed to be a god especially now that he possesses the ability of "the voice of all things" that's suddenly is getting used conveniently by luffy, and all the parallels with the sun god and joyboy.
