General & Others Rivals according to Japan and why Sanji and Zoro are actually rivals.

Yeah because Sasuke never tried to be stronger than Naruto nor he tried to beat him in normal fights. Their competition was to be who was stronger between each other, like Goku's and Vegeta's.
Sasuke and Naruto had 2 stages of rivalry, when they were younger trying to see who was stronger. And when Sasuke wanted to be Hokage. That's it, sharing some gags with someone or having some beef won't make you X's rival. That's why for me, their rivarly was rather meh.

Yes, they are rivals but in terms of sibling rivalry, nothing to do with strength. It is a clash in personality and that's why they always bicker over petty things.
Oda sees the SHs as more of a family, that's why there is no "official vice captain" and that's why Oda listed Zoro and Sanji as 1st and 2nd oldest brothers. Its fitting because despite them always butting heads, Zoro is a brother to Sanji, something Sanji never truly had as we learnt from his flashback.

Why is it so hard to accept? Yes they are rivals.
The main rivalry however, the naruto x sasuke of the story is luffy x zoro ( i dont know why many of u are shitting on naruto and sasuke rivalry but whatever)
