Still getting comfortable with this D1 stuff, but I’ll definitely share my main thoughts floating around rn:
Lind being the 3rd person to claim Miller (even if a different type of Miller) seems like it would be more town indicative than anything else. I’d think fake claiming Miller after two people have already claimed it would be really risky as Scum.
Based on my one game of experience with Light as Scum, I can at least say this would be a very different game for Scum Light than the last one. Last game aside from night actions they were basically a chameleon. This game on the other hand they are drawing loads of attention between claiming Miller and the PR thing. The PR stopping at 5 seems like a really weird fake. If they were going to devise a fake PR I’d think it would be more standard instead of being so unusual.
Cal not RIPping into you for your vote on him seems odd compared to the other game. He doesn’t seem as fiery rn but he also said he hasn’t really read the thread yet so maybe he’ll go rip mode here soon. It just pinged me as odd to see him so laid back based on what I knew coming into this game.
The Mango & Zara thing Idk what to think about. I don’t know either of them and Idk what to think about their conflict either. I’d like to revisit this whole thing with them D2. Mango has been posting really weird but Idk if that’s supposed to mean anything.
Hayumi is like a trillion times more active this game than the other one. I didn’t even get to know them last game they were so inactive lol. I see everyone joking about their active Scum meta but I’m not going to make any judgements on them for that. I’d rather wait and see for myself what I think. But still the difference in activity is staggering lol.
T-Pein is vote switching like crazy. Idk what’s up with that. I don’t feel like that would be a good move as Scum. Seems like Scum wouldn’t want to draw that much attention to themselves for no reason.
Got kind of a weird ping on you for questing why I’d be afraid of an invest as a Newbie which felt weird. I feel like any Miller would be worried about invest results if they didn’t claim Miller. That just seems too common sense to be a concern.
Conquistador seems genuinely Town to me based on that early Miller/invest interaction. I definitely didn’t like Zara wanting them vig’d when I haven’t seen anything Scummy from them yet.
None of this stuff really means much to me in isolation. I hate having to vote someone out with such little to go on, but if I had to pick someone right this second I’d pick Zara mostly for that Conquistador Vig comment. But I’m really glad I don’t have to vote just yet. I still want to keep observing.
I’d prefer something else to compare this stuff to so I can start connecting dots. Y’all think I’m being low activity compared to last game but last game’s D1 I was basically nonexistent and just sheeped Tobi since anything felt better than that Flower push, which felt illogical to me. Today we don’t even have something like that to go on. Last game I didn’t really pick up steam until later into D2 once we started getting some real stuff to go on.
This D1 stuff just really isn’t my speed yet. I like to be able to cross examine information and then come to a conclusion. This feels like stumbling in the dark and hoping in comparison.
Don’t worry lol. I’m plenty cool with trial by fire. Can’t scare me away that easily. I don’t expect anyone to go easy.
