I am referring to the Sabaody scenario where the crew split into 3 groups. I keep repeating the Wings shit because Oda is choosing to use it as a metaphor to describe the importance of Zoro and Sanji, Wings are equal in overall importance, that's why Oda made no distinction between them, I am addressing the actual metaphor and what it implies, never did I say them being the Wings means they are equal in strength simply IMPORTANCE, because this metaphor which is now canon would place them right behind Luffy, so it would go Luffy and then his Wings not Luffy, his VC/Firstmate/Right hand Zoro then Sanji because that's not what Oda is telling us with this statement at all.
So you want Luffy to not designate a leader for Sanji's group?
Let me ask you a question, if the crew splits into three sections, who'd lead each section other than the captain, first mate, and second mate? It's not like Luffy would go "I'd lead this, Zoro leads that, and the other... do whatever!"
Ofc wings are used as a metaphor to describe importance of Zoro and Sanji. Not equalize them. Jesus.
Wings don't negate right hand-left hand mechanism, you know? You could call them pillars, wings, hands, eyes, etc etc, but none of that is negating the other.
Hey, listen to me. A ground-breaking realization; If there's a right hand man- and a left hand man,
both can still be the wings!!!!!
The fact that Oda made Zoro take Luffy's pain over Sanji (while keeping both as last men standing willing to take his pain). The fact that Oda writes Zoro as canonical pseudo-vice-captain, and not Sanji. These things are fact. Wings means that Zoro and Sanji are important, but wing stuff doesn't
negate the VC statement or Thriller Bark happening.
You're ASSUMING that wings mean equality in importance to the crew and Luffy rather than just importance in general. But that assumption is wrong when we've been confirmed that Zoro is narratively superior via VC as well as Thriller Bark parallels. Quit pretending they don't exist just to factify your agenda and wrong opinion.
