If he is Magellan and Pre ts Shiryuu equal, he is a very op character for sure.
Magellan was able to destroy whole impel down with his awakening. Imagine King all out with awakening. Magellan was so op that Ivankov,Jinbe and Crocodile together qould probably lose to him. Ivankov, Sanji senpai and top commander of the Revos.

only two idiots would struggle against marco in a 2v1 and get ragdolled while losing control of the situation in the live floor. only an idiot would allow the samurai to sneak up against kaido and would get disarmed by fucking izo of all people. only an idiot would allow raid suit sanji (was sent flying through a bunch of buildings by page one btw) to save momo from right under his nose.

Amongst the original yonko subordinates of the pre TS, only Benn is a top tier. He would give the emperors and the admirals a difficult fight, his hype/portrayal is fantastic. Just like Roger and Rayleigh and Luffy/Zoro, Oda portrays those VC figures to be real monsters on their own. He surely can imbue his attacks with king's haki as well.
Katakuri is definitely not a borderline top tier lol, Marco has showed that he can be a nuisance to top tiers and his performance against Mom was notheworthy but he is clealry inferior to them in power as well, no reason to believe King is a level above Katakuri.
Beckman would destroy those guys.
