zara said he protected himself. but he knew very well that hayumi said he would use his ability to protect him. now he's claiming that hayumi didnt specify that he'd protect him so he assumed that hayumi was gonna protect his invest alone.

my questions are:
what's the point in spending (atleast) 2 abilities in a night on single invest result if we dont even get an invest at the end of the day?
what's the point in protecting the invest of a person alone, if the person wont even be alive the next morning to tell us the result? its quite obvious that hayumi meant that he'd protect zara and not his invest alone.
