Kaido should go out in a similar fashion to whitebeard. He's too much of a chad to deserve any less.

Like he get's colse to be defeated and tries to run away then zoro catches him with a badass attack.
I think running away is more shamful than an accidental death by drowning.

It’d also be very out of character for Kaido as well as not how Oda writes endings where Luffy gets stated by everyone he’ll beat Kaido only for him not to.

works but i dont think anyone is strong enough to make kaido run away even after all the powerups that we've got.

exactly. he doesnt deserve that.

his character arc is surrounding a "grand death". what he should recieve is a pathetic death. the statement that he told kinemon before skewering him ~ "face your death like a warrior! the problem with defeat is that so few people can accept it when it arrives" ~ this alone makes me think that he's gonna die while bawling his eyes out and crying about his legacy being tarnished by his pathetic death. that people wont remember him like they remember roger and whitebeard after their grand/epic deaths.

There are several possibilities, not denying that, depends on whether Oda goes down the fraud path, which could happen, no argument, and Kaidou could turn out to be a more powerful Moria pretty much.
It´s also interesting to point out that boiling a prisoner was actually pretty common (Oden) but it was only reserved for the biggest criminals. So Oda could say Wa No/Strawhats is giving Kaidou the death he did not even grant Oden (though Orochi also had his hands there), or you could say karma, he killed off Oden like that, he does not deserve to fall like a warrior either.

It´s something Oda has to decide in-between, fraud or not.

I have a feeling Kaido himself will probably release his life has reached its threshold and will accept death by the hand of the Grandmaster. That would feel quite epic as a finale.

But I love the finale involving Kaido still wishing to live and Zoro ending his life regardless either.

Which is why I suggested the seppoku execution as a solution… it could be even done beautifully… Seppoku usually is performed that way… the guy stabs himself and the executioner beheads him to prevents him from suffering a painful death.. so he quicly cuts his head

I don't care who would deliver the final strike, just the reality of kaido running away from defeat is more eneresting.
Kaido has said himself that "the thing about defeat is that only few people accept it when it comes".
It'll be enteresting to see how he's gonna deal with his own defeat.

It doesn't have to be the same. However it needs to be something as grand not a lame-ass seppuku.

Maybe have him impaled by all Samurai/Strawhats/etc using that giant sword in Onigashima as a last effort to bring him down or something.
