That's actually Bs since Luffy defeating kaido now does not brake the narrative. He would have needed to fight kaido fresh from the beginning by himself. At this point the residual damage from everyone else clearly indicates that luffys win won't be 1v1

Actually we know that isn't always the truth since zoros fights before wano were trash in comparison to luffys fights with high tiers that helped him grow. Yet Zoro is miraculously close to current Luffy and surpasses udon Luffy. That means that Zoro from the beginning of postimeskip was strongert than gear 4th luffy first introduced post timeskip

Luffy was fighting Kaido 1v1 and matching him, while Kaido was in hybrid and Luffy was in base. We can bury this. Luffy is far stronger. It’s not close. This has been ongoing since way back in the series, where each successive enemy that Luffy faces is increasingly stronger than the one Zoro faces. Captains and leaders are well stronger than the next in line, and it’s not particularly close.

Cap. Since kaido stated that base Luffy didn't amount to shit.

Also current Zoro > udon Luffy who had future sight. And this Zoro didn't have opponents that made him level up post timeskip like katakuri or do nlamingo. Yet current Zoro still has the portrayal and feats
