Speculations When will Zoro become WSS?

Zoro and Luffy agreed that Zoro must be the strongest swordsman by the time Luffy becomes PK, or else it would be an embarrassment for the crew, so when do you think it will happen? I think he will become WSS during Elbaf or Lodestar. Maybe during Laugh Tale if he has to take the title from Shiryu. After Laugh Tale wouldn’t make much sense unless Luffy doesn’t become PK at Laugh Tale

Very good question. I would love to see Zoro face Mihawk one last time in a duel for the title. I just dont see where along the path to Laugh Tale that will happen. Unless Mihawk dies by someone else and the title becomes up for grabs, which honestly would suck.

I never got why Zoro fanboys want Zoro to become WSS after Luffy becomes PK. Why do they want Zoro to embarrass himself?

After this battle, Luffy will be close to becoming Pirate King, so it should be the same for Zoro with his goal.
The way I look at it is:
If Zoro forges Enma black here, then he will be viewed as someone worthy of challenging Mihawk.
Mihawk v Zoro could then be a battle between the only 2 people alive who have forged a black blade.
After Zoro defeats Mihawk, he can forge Wado Ichimonji black, and he will be the first to have two black blades.
Then, in the final war, Zoro can defeat Gandhi and forge his third and final black blade.
Wado doesn't need to be Zoro's last blade to become black as many people wish.

The WSS title is likely no different than in WWE. You beat the champ and become the former one but as long as you are recognized like that. Otherwise you are a champ in your own mind at least.

If he does it’ll probably happen around elbaf, if not it’ll be right before Raftel (if Shiryu takes it) or in the final war (if Fujitora takes it)

I would assume when they meet the red hair pirates. Mihawk will be there and there will be duels like in the past Shanks vs Mihawk.
it will be serious about skill and as follwoing:
Shanks vs Luffy (CoC haki Duell )
Mihawk vs Zoro (CoA haki and Swordsmanship Duell )
Ben Beckmann vs Sanj (CoO haki and Wit(or maybe Cooking in case BB is the cook of the RHPs) Duell )
Yasopp vs Usopp (Marksmanship Duell )

Luffy would surpass Shanks as promised.
Zoro will be the strongest Swordsman.
Sanji will defeat the strongest firstmate , whose power were compared to that of Shanks in the Vivre cards.

Imo one if the few ways Zoro can fight mihawk and not have he leave the crew for a while is if the sh's face the RHP. Imo it should be before laugh tale.

he mentioned Shanks. and I didn't say that Mihawk is Shanks' underling but they have a relationship I can see Shanks visit Shanks again, so they can speak about their hope for their hope for the future since they are the role models for Luffy and Zoro.
and either way Mihawk and Shanks hadn't fought for 12 years. Shanks became a yonko only 6 years ago. Mihawk never surpassed Shanks to begin with. he just earned his titel not because of Shanks. Shanks got mightier so he became a Yonko.
