It doesn’t take much to understand he has no advanced of any kind of haki. Either hope be gets one in the fight against BM or loss hope for him completely.
Why? Ihink it is clear by now that Oda has no intention of having everybody throw black ink on the page. Marco, Ace, Whitebeard, BlackBeard, all used DFs. Kaido is 90% DF, Big Mom is 99% DF, Haki once every 300 chapters, and so on.

I’m not talking about normal armament haki mate… we are referring to the advanced type… Kid didn’t know such a thing existed.

He needs Awakening to use Haki on the scrap, hence why he has not shown it.
Why does he need awakening to do this?

Anyways, not all CoA users have good enough ryuo to use black hardening. Zoro is the only supernova, to my knowledge, who has actually used black hardening on his weapons. Does this mean that other supernova don't have haki? Obviously not.

Drake is a confirmed haki user. He bit caribou in the cover story. Yet he has never blackened his weapons.

In order to take out Killer, Zoro needed to use black hardening on his blades. This indicates that Killer must have some degree of CoA even if his blade wasn't hardened black. Otherwise, why would Zoro need to use haki to defeat him?

Law has shown black CoA but only on his arms, he has never hardened his sword. Does that mean his sword isn't imbued with haki?

You can even look at Tashigi. She is a confirmed haki user, but never hardened her sword black like zoro did.

At worst, Kid just has bad ryuo. At best, Kid actually can use black hardening on his metal, as he was shown doing so in stampede(a movie where Oda was a creative supervisor). Maybe he hasn't done it yet because Oda is saving it for later, idk.

Sorry, when did Kid use it in stampede? I've watched it but I can't remember this.

Because he is attracting the scrap with magnetism, and is not holding it in his hand.
Not using Haki against Kaidou is the dumbest thing ever, and you know it.

Movies are not canon.

Oda didn't show the full rooftop fight. He cut around at parts. Ultimately, he only showed the scenes which highlighted Zoro and Luffy as kaido was mainly their fight.

Kid and Law's main fight is big mom. Given how almost every character has shown off new abilities in their wano fights, do you really think kid and law will be the exception?

we have no idea how awakening or kid's devil fruit works. Katakuri needs awakening to manipulate the environment, Kid's fruit does that naturally.

We had three chapters completely dedicated to the fight, and then a lot of cutting in.
Every character on the rooftop, even Killer, have gotten their panels to showcase.
Law had as many highlight scenes as Luffy and Zoro.

Not arguing with what "might" happen.

Katakuri is not manipulating environment, he is turning the environment to his element.
Kid´s ability is nothing different than Bartolomeo, or even Perospero or Magellan.
He can create something that interacts with the world in one way or the other, only that it in his case it´s not a material, but magnetism.

We only saw him use 2 attacks against kaido...

Like I said, it wasn't his fight
Likewise Big Mom was treated as an extra on the roof as well. Now both of them are fighting off the roof where they will most likely get the shine/focus people expected on the roof. Roof just wasn’t their place to shine. Rooftop was mainly about Luffy, Zoro, and Kaido.

Haki is getting weirder nowadays. I mean, how the fuck is the King and Queen doesn't even use hardening to fight Marco? Is that means they doesn't have it? Which is weird for people with such a high bounty while fodder like Bellamy is shown to do hardening.
Even Sasaki, P1, and Black Maria never used it, what kind of Yonko crew is that.

Yeah but are you arguing. That Kid has CoA? Like i said, i do agree he has it. That he can use it on scrap? Has not shown it.
That he does not need awakening to coat scrap with Haki? All other abilities disagree.
That he has awakening? Has not shown it.

so yeah, you are only left with "he has much more to show". How likely that is, everyone should decide themselves.
In a fight in which the other four basically showed their strongest attacks at that.
