He can get all the promotions he wants, but he is still an weakling. And he is not gonna do shit to Boa. It will either be SSG or an Admiral (or someone like Tsuru).

Regular Vice-Admirals and Kobys are not gonna do shit. Oda's power-scaling is not bad yet. It's like the argument that since Sanji said he will be the greatest enemy to Marines, he will be.

Not at all. He has the fastest growth rate in the series. Hes been trained by a legend like luffy and zoro and like them two unlocked haki pre skip.

Sanji proven he will be a great threat to them so wrong example man. It's like Zoro never losing again, but he does. I do believe Boa will beat Coby down as Oda hype her too much to have her be beaten especially she probably join Luffy later.

Oda is pulling Koby through the story like he does with a crew member, slowly coming closer to his dream.

Koby is incredibly talented, trained by Garp, unlocked Haki two years ago, jumps Ranks, and now Oda starts to build his legend as the new " Hero of the good marines".

Lol, he even included him in the rocky port incident and has some citizens already call him a hero.

Koby is capturing Boa with the assist of SSG new weapon.

Though I can see why Hancock is special amongst the other Shichibukai, she is not only a pirate, she is also a property of the Celestial Dragon, so they might send a stronger force than the one they send to the others.

Dude really grew compared to where he was at the start of the series, but he's still far far away from the actual higher or even top tiers in the series. He can use some haki and got basic martial arts training, that's it. May I remind some of you, that this dude was one-shot material to non-gear-2 Luffy (!) during the war?

And now some of you think he will defeat Hancock, a former Shichibukai, CoC user, expert in CoA, owning one of the most hax DFs in the series and no-diffing pacifistas left and right during the war?

Good luck with that, you played yourself. You're basically suggesting current Coby would be able to defeat pre-skip Luffy, Zoro and Sanji combined. If you don't see how ridiculous this is, I don't know what to tell you anymore.

Of course Hancock will be captured, but it won't be due to Coby at all. It will either be due to Fujitora or Vegapunk's new weapon. Oda is setting things up with the WG imprisoning (maybe even executing) Vivi, Sabo and Hancock. He somehow has to give Luffy a good reason to start the final war against the WG at the end of the series. Right now Luffy simply doesn't give a fuck about the WG.

Out of the warlord it doesn't make any sense plot wise to capture Mihawk, Weevil or Buggy. And at the same time it doesn't make any sense to let everyone escape when one of the reason for their abolishment was that Vegapunk developed something that could replace them.

Koby's dream parallel's Zoro/Luffy's. He should achieve it around the same time as them, so yeah. If he can't beat a YC3 this late in the manga then his characters frequent cameos are pointless.

His dream was just to be an Admiral, Fleet Admiral is extra. And this dude spent more time under Garp then Luffy did under Rayleigh and already foiled Trafalgar Law's plans in the time skip. I don't think we should be brushing him off as this East Blue fodder. This is his chance to prove himself as a fighter, if he blows it then Koby isn't achieving his Admiral Status dream til EoS epilogue, which would be beyond shitty.
