My take - I think Shigaraki wins this. He has everything he needs to take on Mahito and come on top. And his quirk should negate domain expansion?

Very strange match-up you came up with. I doubt Decay can negate the domain expansions.

But on the other hand, I think the man who touches the other one first wins this. The key thing here might be if Shigaraki uses Decay on the surrounding area to give Mahito the overall idea about what his powers do. From that point onwards I think Mahito would outplay Shigaraki.


The thing I'm the most curious about is the moment when Mahito and Shigaraki touch each other's hands at the same time. That might literally delete the existence or some shit

Shigaraki can decay anything be touches, even stress lol. So it basically comes down to Mahito’s reaction time. And considering current Shigaraki had All Might level physicals quirkless….

Yuuji is an exception to the rule. He is the weirdest sorcerer in the manga since he has heavenly restriction features and also cursed energy himself.

It all comes down to who touches first and in another scenario to Mahito's growth during the battle. Mahito learns during the battle.

If he learns enough he might react to Decay quickly and cut off his arm or something to later rematerialize it back in its place.
