undeniably shanks

I cannot understand the logic behind people who say Shanks>Mihawk or Shanks>Kaido. I don't mean to downplay, but shanks is a literal cripple. He gave up his dream for Luffy. The biggest thing the marines hyped about him was his crew.
What is so great about shanks? People were saying he is a haki god, but it turns out every yonko apart from Blackbeard was is a confirmed user of ACoC. Luffy has already mastered all 3 forms of advanced haki.

The issue with Shanks>Mihawk is that it unnecessarily complicates the story for literally no reason. If Oda actually wanted Shanks> Mihawk, he could have either a) made shanks the WSSM or b) made shanks not a swordsman. But by making shanks a swordsman and mihawk the WSSM, you are making it to where Shanks>Mihawk would unnecessarily obscure Zoro's goal for literally no reason.
Shanks is a hakiman? Then what the fuck is zoro, a guy who has both ACoA and ACoC?

I know a few other options for most overrated character would probably be Sanji or Kid, but at least for them, imo its only a slight misreading for one to overhype these characters. To overhype shanks is to basically disregard blatant evidence that his rival is stronger than him(its in the fucking title).

Powerwise, I think Borsalino is overrated, I don't see a reason to put him above Issho in strength, and he's definitely not the strongest admiral.

Zoro and Sanji are both overrated by some users each lol.

Mihawk, which is funny because you have guys saying shit like "Mihawk is Vista level", and guys saying "Mihawk mid diffs Roger" in the same threads lmao (I personally think Mihawk has a good case for being the strongest alive though, I'm just saying).

Characterwise, I think Garp is super overrated. He's a garbage character.

Roger is also uninteresting and bad.

I don't really see the appeal of Law's character either.

Crocodile's a good villain, but he's not the best imo.

Lucci vs Luffy was a cool fight, but I find Lucci himself as a bland character.

Katakuri, King and Marco are all mid to me imo. I don't really hate any of them, but I don't like them either.

About 40% of posters are Zoro fans, by far the single largest group.

So, it's really not a big question. Maybe runner up for most overrated would be Blackbeard. Not just powerwise but his story importance. People keep pushing him for FV when it should be obvious Imu-sama is the big bad.
