It’s not a matter of Luffy momentarily stopping hakai for few seconds like Zoro did, but rather was if Oda wanted to sacrifice Luffy in this fight like he did with Zoro.
The dude I'm arguing with is trying to claim a single Kong Gun can outright overpower Hakai. But Luffy ran with terrified, shocked expression instead simply because he didn't want to waste stamina and rather let his crewmmate die trying to protect him.

Yeah, no. That's just being dumb as fuck.

But the bullet did penetrate him as opposed to the ink rain that is more powerful than bullets, cuz just few of them could sink a samurai ship.
rain more powerful than bullets?
i doubt ,were'nt the army equipped with calibers that could penetrate germa suits?
but generally the idea of him not being affected due to the RS is farfetched..
he wore it 3 times innt? and he didn't exclaim that he felt weird right after wearing it the second time

hmm, btw i have this lingering thought in my mind ragrding sanji's flames turning into a different hue seeing how the anime has portrayed haki colors of combatants .

Zoro has purple , Luffy has red ,and katakuri has blue

so with that in mind if sanji does incorporate ryou in his flames ... they may turn a different color depending on his haki's color , but this notion is too elaborated and a bit farfetched .
Yeah it does seem far fetched,Sanji will most likely stick to fire based attacks,I doubt we’ll ever see him clad in haki ?

Might this fight vs Queen be the perfect opportunity because Sanji needs an attack strong enough to down Queen a Yonko commander with a bounty of over a billion.

So if not now then most likely never.

That works for every other villain. Kaido is the only one that says he will never leave Wano alone. His introduction has shown that you can't keep him chained forever. He will escape eventually. Compare to someone like Crocodile. He gave up on his ambitions for Alabasta. Doflamingo has never been captured and isn't Kaido/aka a far weaker threat.
Those are the primary differences between those villains and Kaido.

I'm not saying it's 100% guaranteed, but the parallels are uncanny, and the situations we are witnessing can allow it to happen because now there is a fully established connection to Zoro and Ryuma. It's no longer a "parallel", the story is literally telling you they are related in some way, including Ushimaru.

I even implied in that post, we have to be willing to suspend disbelief and believe that Oda can have a main character kill a villain. With any other character it doesn't make sense, but with Kaido it does. With Zoro's clear parallels to Ryuma, it can

Actually, the right answer is:

Zoro fans don't have courage to bet and side with a character who's chances of winning is slim... because Zoro will always be a winning horse.... basically they are the opposite of Zoro's character who tries to test himself and go for harder route....

Sanji fans on the other hand... they have the power and courage to stick with their losing character until he pulls a W...

We are world apart when it comes to heart and courage
:kayneshrug:

It's a FACT
How is it betting on a winning horse, when you've bet on the person from the start lmao.

We've had no idea Sanji would be shafted this hard since east blue and now you're crying about "winning horses"

:eeke:

Bro, we fell in love with Zoros character from the get go 10-15 years ago. Not because he's out here embarrassing top tiers in present time. That's just a bonus.
