If someone like Ryuma with no ancestors, no magic DNA etc beame a monster, it means that a normal person with enough will and skills can become a monster too. No need to Zoro to be linked with Ryuma by blood. He can be linked with Ryuma by sword, skills, achievements but by blood ? like if t was destiny ? its lame.

So blood offsets all the things that he accomplished on his own? same ordinary Ryuma red blood Zoro has. Ryuma didn't become monster because he has mysterious blood nor blood color did change and became magical when Ryuma made his legend.
