For a little context I was going to join a game well before this and me simply talking in a convo thread had me blatantly ignored from it not ONLY being about mafia, so now that I'm exposed to it I really don't see where the fuck that was warranted

I get that, but to refer to other games seems more exclusive than it is about deducing anything.

That's for meta purposes. Looking at a player's game history to determine their alignment in the current game is a practical scum hunting technique. People generally tend to play the same way as a particular alignment. Meta reads aren't always correct but can be useful.

i dont know flavour. i used that phrase to hint because it was given in my character's writeup.
there is another phrase as well about my character which i found online but it would probably reveal it entirely.
im not gonna claim unless its absolutely needed though.

Oh maybe, i played in role madness game recently on another forum when i was immune to most actions and were town.

but could have some bastard mechanics

meaning some cops/lie detect results may have some hidden mechanics behind them, or scum might have some immunity to lie detects

Having hidden mechanics to negatively affect some actions isn't bastard. Having immunity to lie detects isn't bastard either. Bastard games are simply games that are intentionally created to make zero sense for the players playing them. That's it. Saying stuff like "bastard mechanics but not a bastard game" or "heavily bastard" further complicates the definition for no reason. A game is either bastard or not.

I have seen townies with an invest immune passive. Having a passive like that is NAI imo.

Kamisato Ayaka (technically from a noble house equivalent in Inazuma)
Fischl (self proclaimed princess)

All of these could fit that term, the problem here is that all of them should be Town but I doubt all of them are in this game.

Which means claiming you're a Noble is a safe strat for Scum.
