Current Events A Decade of Zoro Propaganda Down the Toilet-How Zoro Himself Destroyed the Swordsmen Narrative

#42
I think it's simple
If one identifies himself as swordman, he is a swordman, if not, then no ,unless Oda officially calls himself a swordman (through a Vivre card maybe)
Having a different fighting style than swordmanship doesn't automatically discount one as a swordman (Kaku, Fujutora, Law...). And vice versa, having a Sword doesn't automatically mean he's a swordman (King...)
Anyways this whole argument is dumb, but it's gonna be fun seeing both sides giving their own arguments.

The panel which trolls are leaving out on purpose. :myman: We really need prime Kurwa-chan back to troll Zori fans properly. :catcry:
These are Zoro's Fights:

Morgan ---> Carries an Axe, not a Sword
Cabaji ---> Basically East Blue version of King
Sham & Buchi ---> Not Swordsmen at all
Hatchan ---> Doesn't carry Swords with him, but he calls himself Swordsman anyway
100 Baroque Works Agents ---> Various Fighting Styles
Mr. 5 ---> Non-Swordsman
Mr. 1 ---> He himself said that he ain't a Swordsman, but Zoro replied that he doesn't care
Braham ---> Sniper
Ohm ---> No different than King, another Dirty Fighter
Foxy Trio ---> Non-Swordsmen
T-Bone ---> This one is Swordsman but shortest Fight
Kaku ---> Considers his Legs as Swords lol
Ryuma ---> Swordsman
Oars ---> Non-Swordsman
Kuma ---> Non-Swordsman
Pacifista ---> Non-Swordsman
Hody Jones ---> Non-Swordsman
Hyouzou ---> Swordsman who couldn't remove Zoro's Boredom
Monet ---> Non-Swordsman
Fujitora ---> They are calling him Non-Swordsman lmao so let's agree for sake of argument
Pica ---> Non-Swordsman
Hawkins ---> Definitely Non-Swordsman according to these Readers
Killer ---> Consider him whatever they want
Kaido ---> Non-Swordsman
King ---> Non-Swordsman

So we've been reading +1000 Chapters & how many times Zoro fought True Swordsmen (According to these Genius Readers) in his Path to reach Mihawk? Literally One, only Zombie Ryuma was a True Swordsmen Fight & you can add Killer if you want, so let's say Two
(Hyouzou, Tashigi & T-Bone were barely Fights)

But when we tell them, Zoro is on the Path to become Strongest Man/Fighter Ever, they are like nah, Zoro only fights Swordsmen lol
And that Title of WSS doesn't make you stronger than Non-Swordsmen

Bunch of trolls, i swear

Says this

Later on King despite his word uses his swords to take on Zoro attacks whether he likes it or not King will have to be a swordsman and rely on it against Zoro

King did not also deny being a swordsman just that he is willing to use other forms of fighting too just like Zoro said by responding he would bite through his his throat if needed to win:jordanmf:

They were called swordsmen by vivre cards and supplementary material not written by Oda, and never referred to as swordsmen in canon lol. Thank you Zoro for confirming that carrying a sword doesn’t make one a swordsman lmfao.
So it’s not really a surprise to anybody outside of sword swallowers, but King just proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Oda does not view the term “swordsman” as being as simplistic as “anybody who uses a Sword in combat:

I suppose the beautiful irony in this is that King actually didn’t say anything about not being a Swordsman, Zoro himself did as Zoro clearly states that wielding a sword does not make one a swordsman.

All these years of “Fujitora is a Swordsman because he carried a sword”…debunked by Zoro himself.

All these years of “Whitebeard himself is beneath Mihawk because Oda considers his Bisento a Sword”…debunked by Zoro himself.

All these years of “Ryuma over Roger because Roger has a Sword”…debunked by Zoro himself.

You see, even Zoro fans themselves knew that Oda never viewed a Swordsman as just any person to carry a Sword, but for years they have tried to argue that there is no canonical basis for characters who wield swords not being Swordsman. No longer, as Zoro acknowledges that King himself is not a Swordsman despite wielding a sword as his primary weapon lol.

You can wield a sword and not be a swordsman. You can wield a sword and still be stronger than Mihawk. You can wield a Sword and that doesn’t mean you’ll be weaker than EOS Zoro.

Mihawk’s Title of “World’s Strongest Swordsman”, LITERALLY means that he has the strongest Swordsmanship in the world, not that he is stronger than every character who carries a Sword.

We have all known this for years, Zoro fans themselves have known this for years, but now they no longer have any canonical basis for the spreading of their propaganda.

The war is over. But Mihawk is still stronger than Shanks.

Roger @Dark Admiral @Fruitji @VersusPhD @Admiral Borsalino"Kizaru" @Admiral Mou Bu @Xione @Desolate Smaug @Beerbottle @Den_Den_Mushi @dizzy2341 etc etc etc
Doesn't the fact that Zoro is willing to win a fight by even biting an opponent kills the whole pure swordsmenship narrative towards WSS?
Zoro isn't displaying some impeccable swordskills he is trying to win a death match and in Zoros mind WSS Zoro is so strong he wins any death match he can be it.

That being said Zoro doesn't need to no title to beat Akainu, post Wano Zoro puts his trash ass in a body bag. Zoro already has feats Akainu can't even dream of accomplishing. A nano second of Hakai would turn Akainu into atoms

Basically King is breaking swordsmen fighting etiquette, so Zoro's saying "aight then anything goes"

If he was fighting Vista or Mihawk in a duel between swordsmen where they are trying to establish who's the strongest, Zoro would probably not make claims that he'd be willing to bite them by their throat to win at any cost :milaugh:

Dude name me one other character in the manga who fights by hurling gravity and meteors at his opponents, since you think this counts as a “traditional fighting method” lol
Name me one other character that fights by holding a sword between his teeth like Zoro lol. That is, apparently “traditional fighting form.” And Zoro never had problem with Kaku calling himself a swordsman either.

Fujitora has a unique fighting style called Gravity Blade, that doesn’t disqualify him as a swordsmen anymore than Kaku’s style disqualified him.
