This is my thinking too. Only way to ever catch Lm in that lie is to flip Rej. But scum probably felt good about that IC ability keeping that from happening.

This is my theory.

Nat asked LM first. Nat said that’s a lie because of RB. But then Rej says they RB’s Nat’s RB on LM.

Rej lying for LM is actually even worse because we know that Rej is mafia lol.

Yeah I floated that theory as well. That was probably Melkor's initial motivation for pulling that move. But they didn't expect Nat to have RB'd Melkor so they had to improvise this why Rej lied and said he Jailed Nat N1. We now know, based on Rej's flip, that he didn't have anything to target Nat with N1 other than a Role Crush and we know she didn't get hit with that. So with Rej's lie confirmed, Melkor cannot have actually seen Rej target N1. There lies the rub.

yeah. LM was scum and he HAD to claim some action since he fake claimed invest/tracker.
amber also makes sense as a possible fake claim given by the hosts.
its more likely that rej decided to take advantage of it for some town cred and fake ability claims.

Rej for sure used it to buy Town cred. That combined with the fake IC was a great play.

Honestly I feel bad for scum if Melkor is Wolf. Unexpected Nat RB blows Melkor up D2 and Tpein has a fucking perfect counter to the fake IC. Tough luck.
