what? their haki didnt get "weaker". they depleted their haki reserves and that is exactly what doflamingo is talking about when he says "with what little stamina you've got".


as i said, we don't know that. its useless arguing about it. and "huffing" isnt indicative of anything lol.

Stamina is purely physical while haki is spiritual energy, they're not the same thing. That's why doffy said that luffy only got few seconds of stamina left and that he's only able to stand because of his haki.

Here's my opinions:
- haki runs out as you use it, it also get's weaker.
- Haki gets recharged to full capacity in 10 minutes, people don't usually get 10 minutes to rest during battle.
- having no haki doesn't cause exhaustion, as luffy was able to fight and run easily whithout haki.
- suffering a lot of damage and having low stamina causes haki to get weakened, doflamingo's haki got weaker even though he didn't abuse it on something like gear4, and luffy's haki couldn't block doffy's attacks even after he recharged it.

It is in character for Luffy to say that again and again, he is not doing it for the gags, but to remind himself of what his goal is. The first step to fullfill your dream is to internalize it.
That is why during supernova vs Marine in Saboady, Kidd respects Luffy because Luffy had guts to speak about finding one piece so casually as if its a daily ritual. Its also the same way Luffy repeats that he is going to kick *insert current opponent's* ass.
If you look at the story, most of the major decision in the story Luffy has took, he have said everything aloud and clear.

Sanji got stabbed (what made Zoro faint Post-TS), received the most hits by Oars, was hit by Kuma's Ursus Schock - to that point Sanji took wayyy more damage than Zoro did, boi.

Let's see - So Franky hits a Number and the Number is falling down, which takes only a few seconds and let's look at what happened.

And here he finaly lands on the ground.

That is almost a whole chapter lol
In that few second we got around 63 speech bubble's.

Or another example:
Sanji 'shave's' Pound is throwing his punch - Oven says a whole sentence before his punch even comes close to Pound - Sanji comes in and kicks Oven - Pounds fist is still in the same position as before - Sanji is explaining what he plans to do and Pounds fist stil didn't move. We have multiple sentences here while Pound didn't even move in that whole time - it's like the time stopped. Than Sanji catches Chiffon and says ''We're gonna jump chiffon'' and she says ''Huh''- yet NOBODY saw him.

You are fooling yourself if you think that entire chapter happened in a few seconds. Just because it took that number time to fall down doesn't mean it all happened in a few seconds. Besides, Luffy and Zorro actually crashed into the number.

In my other post, i posted multiple pages of showing how you can have literaly multiple conversations in just a few seconds. In OP you are able to say 2 sentences before your punch can even land etc. - can you do it IRL? No, that is why it's a manga.

Zoro fell from hunger at chapter 7 after he beat Morgan without telling or showing anything prior to that while he was fighting..
Zoro dodging kumas pound canon is the best dodging feat from a strawhat that his name is not Luffy....
