I agree that Oda gives different treatment between Beast Pirated and Big Mom Pirates, very different treatment.
Look at how Oda treated Jack. Fought an island of Natural Born Fighters for days non stop, fought greatest Navy manpower Admiral Fujitora, former Fleet Admiral Sengoku, and Vice Admiral Tsuru. Fought thousand years old island sized beast. Fought Wanokuni's strongest scabbard. And neither of them managed to make Jack out of the game, let alone killing him. Meanwhile Cracker? Fought Luffy, got 1 shotted and get sent flying into different universe. Never be heard anymore, not even in cover story.
How Oda treated Queen and Smoothie. One faced Big Mom, survived her attacks, headbutted her and Oda ending the clash with Big Mom laying down on floor, unconscious, captured, chained, and got sent to Onigashima. While Queen standing strong. Meanwhile Smoothie? Ran away in full sweat facing the same Big Mom.
King vs Katakuri? Tragic. King defeated Big Mom (2 out of 3 Calamities, more than half Calamities humilliated Big Mom!!!!!) and half of her crew with single unnamed attack and happened in mere minutes if not seconds. Didn't get any injury too in the process. Casually rejected Big Mom's offer too later like a boss? Meanwhile Katakuri? Lol. Mr. Undefeated who got defeated as soon as he entered the story. Mr. Nice Brother who killed his own chefs who just made him his favorite meal. Mr. Conpetent yet stabbed his own stomach. Ultimately got defeated, ending his flashback only streak.
The captain. Kaido vs Big Mom. Kaido 1 shotted Luffy who has defeated Katakuri.
While Big Mom? Lol. Can't sense 5 intruders coming to her sleeping room (in contrast to Whitebeard and Ace's sneak attack attempt). Got speedblitzed by Brook. Main homie betrayed her and now is Nami's slave. Got sent flying by Jinbe, almost killing her. Got humilliated by more than half of Kaido's Calamities. Got her attack tanked by Chopper and later became Chopper's little sister.
