That scene was Luffy's on battle growth. He improved his flowing haki which allowed him to create larger/stronger barrier haki and gained the power to put his CoC into his attacks.

Luffy and Zoro were equal in strength pre TS. That tells us a crewmen never being stronger than his captain doesn't apply to those two.

At the beginning of the war Zoro was stronger. The rooftop battle made that clear. That's why Luffy relied on Zoro's help throughout the battle.

Kinemon managed to injure Kaido and took an all out attack from him, I don't think that Jack can do ether of them. If You still believe in power levels than by feats alone Kinemon is vastly more superior than Jack, so Kinemon>>>>Jack.
