Current Events Kid has completely given up on fighting Kaido and now is praying Luffy beats him

Oda handled Kidd, Law and Killer horribly on the rooftop.
Started out with them playing chicken in what it seemed like it was going to be an epic fight where everyone will power up through fighting and ended up with Kidd, Law and Killer in awe at Luffy and Zoro's fighting prowess lmao.
Kidd freaked out when Luffy KongGattling'd Kaido. Killer freaked as well when Zoro cut Kaido's scales. And Law followed suit by freaking out when Zoro permanently scarred Hybrid Kaido.
Oda pretty much portrayed these 2 captains who were supposed to be rivals of Luffy and future yonkos as cheerleaders of both Luffy and Zoro. Hell, Kidd even thanked Zoro for saving their lives when he blocked Hakai.
Another character (Kidd) ruined because the author and his editors focus way too much on the MC and irrelevant side characters like Momonosuke or Yamato.

Oda doesn't give a shit anymore, Big Mom seems to be struggling for no reason so fodder Law and fodder Kidd might defeat her somehow which would make them the 2 strongest characters of Wano arc after Kaido and Big Mom which wouldn't make any sense.
But after Oda took a dump on Jack, there is no reason to think he wouldn't have Law and Kidd one shot Big Mom with one simultaneous attack

Lets face it,Kidd is cool,but,if the story about the creation of the Supernovas is true,he was created last-minute so Oda never really knew what to do with him. He cant be the main rival (that is Blackbeard) he cant be the main ally (that is Law,and with Law Oda found the key of that character in his connection with Doflamingo) so what can he be? He is just there and stop
Yeah, one of the things Wano has shown is that Oda really doesn’t know what to do with a lot of the Supernovas.
Law he came on to something good quite early on with making him the main ally as early as Marineford.
Capone I think he managed to fit into WCI well, one of the best parts of that arc tbh.
Here, I don‘t think he’s succeeded with any of the Worst Gen. Including Law, who’s really getting a pass for being interesting pre-skip/PH/Dressrosa. Apoo and Hawkins are a complete waste, Killer, he’s been cool, but let’s be honest, take him out of the series and nothing changes.
Drake hasn’t been up to much either, but at least being an undercover Marine could lead to something cool.
Bonney at least he seems to have a pretty clear idea of what to do with. And for Urouge, we can maybe hope that he’ll turn out well since he shouldn’t have to compete with like a billion other characters including eight other Supernovas when his turn comes. That helped Law and Capone, after all.

Kidd instead should have said, "Kaido you better defeat straw hat" as if he's not occupied with someone who is arguably equal or close to kaido in strength. All of them know full well if Kaido defeats Luffy now they are all dead. But yeah he's a cheerleader because he's taking the current situation as something to not take lightly.
Imo, Oda should have killed off a few of the SN during the TS. 11 SN was clearly too much for Oda to handle, so killing off some would solve this problem, and it would also show that the NW is no joke. Obviously Luffy, Zoro, Kid, and Law couldn’t be killed off. Drake and Bonney also seem too important to kill off. Bege is a bit less important, but I think he was vital enough at WCI. Apoo, Hawkins, and Urouge are worthless and should have been killed off. Killer is on the borderline. This would leave us with 7/8 SN
Y’all really want Kidd fans to care about some dumb little line, but we don’t. At the end of the day he’s fighting a Yonko, you keep finding any little reason to bash the character. I’m just gonna enjoy watching him take on a threat equal to the one his rival Luffy is facing :cheers:
