You are right, but the new world was hyped to be more ruthless and cruel than the first part of the grand line. I think that's the bigger issue

See I am not Defending the Lack of Deaths in one piece. Oda should Kill off more Side Characters IMO. What I am pointing out is People's hypocrisy when they Praise Pre TS like its some Godly work and Shit on Post TS when Both have the Same amount of BS.

One Piece Arcs always gets a Lot of Shit from the Fanbase when it is Published Weekly. Even Enies Lobby and Marineford. People praise One Piece later when the Arc is over and when you can Read it completely and in Hindsight.
