I did personally find that stupid because Luffy should not be much stronger realistically as he did nothing. It's kinda like a zenkai boost in Dragon Ball to me, that's the way Oda is seemingly portraying this thing about life or death situations sparkling someone's haki.
I can only understand being more familiar with haki but the gap should not be that massive realistically.

I wouldn't call it a ass pull if it was mentioned pts it literally stuck with the idea , luffy bloom because of kata being far superior to him in every, making it a very very tough fight for him
Zoro got enma which force out his haki in a large amount which if you look at it is a haki workout / slow bloom plus he's up against king who will most likely push him even more which will result in blooming much faster,
Sanji coo is already very good being able to dodge kata fs much quicker than luffy who got hit around for a very long time before dodging even once but would later get raid suit & is now fighting Queen who will most likely push him even more which might result in a haki bloom plus he has a incoming PU , but I do think haki bloom will happen for all SHs in dew time

You guys seriously need to think about these things subjectively.
Every time Luffy has had a Haki Bloom it's been when he has faced someone well beyond his ability to handle or been in a near death situation.
When he faced Katakuri he acquired FS based on information he had been given by Rayleigh regarding people who can see into the future. So the knowledge was already there. He just had to apply what he had learned from Rayleigh.
Then there was the time where he got Internal destruction by learning advanced armament from Hyogoro. They were both about to die. Even then he didn't immediately get it. But he knew about it from watching Rayleigh.
Advanced Conqueror's haki is applied exactly the same way as Ryou. Luffy already had Conqueror's so he already had all the tools he needed to use it against Kaido. What he lacked was the knowledge.
Alot of people hate on Rayleigh cuz he never told Luffy how to do the advanced forms but he had already given him a ton of hints on where he could start.
None of these situations could be applied to Zoro or Sanji after the timeskip because neither of them were pushed to that extent. Nor do they have the knowledge necessary to pull it off.

Isn't it the other way around. If Luffy became strong with so called 'main character' powerups, then what made Law so strong that someone who get wrecked by Doflamingo was able to fight Kaidou and Bigmom. What made Kid strong when he didn't train? Atleast Luffy did train for his powerups.
