If anything that panel shows how Kidd is irritated with Luffy for not holding his end of the bargain, while he's out there fighting Big Mom, it's the reason they split up. Same with Law actually who was wondering wtf Luffy had been doing the entire time while the two of them were taking on Big Mom. While the rest of the cast is busy going "woohoo go Luffy!" These two are like wtf is this guy doing when we're busting our asses fighting an opponent on the same lvl. There's a clear distinction in tone and visuals here, it's clear as day.
If you think Kidd is worried about Luffy, refer to the chapter where he was laughing alongside Big Mom when he heard he died. The deeper he gets into this situation the more Kidd realizes he needs some help. Aka Kidd is still only worried about his own ass, issue is there are 2 Yonkou in their primes to deal with here. Heck he ideally doesn't want to be fighting with Law but he has no choice (a fact Law reminded him of at the start of this fight). Kidd's a stubborn POS but he's not an idiot.
i don't think they'll switch, they've remained loyal to him despite his mediocre feats and atrocious character development.
a conqueror who's fine with someone else fighting his battles in his stead is extremely disappointing imo.
it's oda's fault tho, he did the same with law too, from being ready to sacrifice his and luffy's life vs doflamingo to a coward who'll abandon a plan to kill a yonko just so an ally (who's completely ready to sacrifice his life) doesn't get hit with a casual attack.
Being a conqueror isn't the same as being a retard. Kid saw that Luffy was better equipped to deal with kaido, so he decided to go after big mom instead. He's still fighting a yonko.

You weirdos want Kidd fans to care about this shit so bad lol. Anybody who is like OP and has no reading comprehension refer to @ZenZu post that he made on this thread. He breaks it down for you guys so that even people as slow as y’all will understand.

LMAO. Oh now I see why this dude made this post. He’s a Zoro fan, why am I not surprised? Like I said on the other thread about this topic (made by yet again another Zoro fanboy), for some odd reason it’s the Zoro fans in particular that are trying their hardest to paint Kidd as a cheerleader because of this scene. I wonder why
