Marco's flames use up the stamina of the person being healed. He says so in the manga itself. Check Chapter 998 as a reference. It's not as if he's consistently generating them.



once he releases them then they're not his problem. It's like saying Law's devil fruit uses up his stamina therefore those Centaurs on Punk Hazard or the 100 hearts he delivered are still draining him.

You said Marco always intended zoro to fight King.
So why did he send zoro to kaido ? And why was he getting pummeled before he knew zoro was healing ? Who was gonna fight King then ?

Ah He sent Zoro to the roof in hope that he will help in taking down Kaido. However, Zoro failed miserably. SO Marco let Zoro take King instead. lol
