The popular argument before was Hakai kills YC commanders on impact, as a means to prove Zoro > YC and is low top tier (High top tier for some). But if King is overpowering Zoro like this, then how does he fair against Hakai? What about actual Top Tiers who are well above King?

It would absolutely kill someone like katakuri. Zoro is just a YC who has strong armament. Katakuri is a YC with stronger CoO.,

His fight is pointless and irrelevant. It leads to nothing Oda won't spend much time on this fight. We will probably get some comments from Queen about MADS, Judge, and Raid Suits and that's it.

Her could used her haki when grabs Marcos neck, but don't when Prometheus is enough to hold Marco.

Katakuri had armament Haki that was so strong it was causing Luffy's own fists that were clad in armament haki to swell up like balloons with every hit.

Hakai was the most overrated feat this arc. Ashura feat >>>> Hakai feat.

I agree that hakai is bit overrated but what you said is even more exagerration....Zoro blocking hakai even for sometime is one of the best defense feats till date....no one or atleast no one of Zoro peers have that level of defense feat.....gotta give credit where it's due.......
