So there was some discussion in the spoiler thread on King's transformation, with some saying that since there was no beak King only did a partial transformation.

Here are my two cents

BTW, the more I look at King the more I think that's his hybrid form, there is no partial transformation.

On top of his arm here's what else changed

1) The wings on his back are gone
2) The fire on his back is gone
3) The spike on the top of his head transformed into the pteranodon's horn

If he simply did a partial transformation of his arms then why those additional changes as well?

I know people are going to say the beak is missing, but as I've already said you can make a case for that to be a plot related decision. Assuming that King will fight in hybrid for most of the fight Oda probably didn't want to insert the beak and ruin his true face design since that's an important plot point as we've found out in this chapter.
What do you think?

He alr has a sword, legs and now he has his wings. The beak was alr proven quite inefficient
That "sword" is to disssarm swordmen, NOT TO FIGHT.

Read, repeat and understand that King is not another Zoro.

The fuck manga are you reading, guys!?

That's utter bs why is King reaching for his sword in this chapter transforming back to his base also didn't King continue taking on Zoro attacks with his swords after he picked it up again. King sliced Marco wing using his sword you are the one reading two piece here not paying any attention:whitepress:

Imma wait till King debunks you. First time that I've ever heard about a sword not being made to fight.

Well, we need to see some more panels of that form, but it didn't look like he could grip a sword with those wings.
He has legs

King plays to win, not to try to being another random sword dude.

You guys are too catchy into sword thing. . .

Kinda cringe even when we have seen that King likes to punch, kich, use his fire powers and df abilities to fight.

--Going by looks its partial transformation ; he gets wings of his df but not other things. Marco's DF is very different being a pure flame type zoan but king's is still a normal zoan but seeing Black maria's case it mostly is
