You do realise that Smoothie can literally turn into a giant if she absorbs enough juice? It was easier with Galette's butter but she would have done it even easier if she actually got far stronger due to the juices she'd absorb.

Also, although we know that Reiju was captured with Galette's butter, you don't know if Smoothie was the reason that Reiju got captured in that butter in the first place.

Smoothie literally praised Reiju's ability.

Smoothie just said she's a troublesome enemy due to her poison.

Caesar is a troublesome enemy too with his poison and gas. Yet he isn't automatically on par with stronger characters only because he can affect those characters with his hax.
