IMPORTANT: I WILL NOT COUNT VOTES FROM THOSE WHO DO NOT VOTE FOR EACH FIGHT. ALSO IF I SEE OR NOTICE SOME SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY THAT ENTRY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
In this round in this thread we will have 8 female leads, which means 4 fights.
FIRST FIGHT
Violet Evergarden
Violet Evergarden is the protagonist of the Violet Evergarden series.
When she was young, she was picked up by a general from the battlefield during a war. Violet had amazing fighting skills, so the general gave her to his brother to protect him on the battlefield. In the last battle, the general was seriously wounded and Violet lost two arms. The general showed some kindness to Violet and said "I love you." But Violet was influenced by military education, so she couldn't understand the meaning of those words. Since she grew up on the battlefield, she was emotionless and distant and killed her enemies without mercy.
At the end of the war, Violet was fitted with metal arms in the hospital. Later she was given a job as an Auto Memories Doll. In other words, Violet was a pretty girl hired to ink peoples' thoughts and feeling into letters. Just like a ghostwriter. She started to interact with people outside of her soldier persona, so she awakened to her humanity and all the pain that came with it. She chose to embrace the pain to connect with other humans and learn the meaning of
"I love you."
She is one of the female leads out there because you can easily connect with her. If you watched the anime, then you know that the entire thing was an emotional rollercoaster. It makes you feel a lot of emotions and you become attached to her as well. She undergoes an insane amount of character development in just 13 episodes.

FOURTH FIGHT
Noelle Silva
Noelle Silva. The Dancing Queen of the Battlefield.
Born on November 15th. Noelle is the daughter of Acier Silva and the youngest one of the siblings from the Noble House of Silva. She joined the Black Bulls Magic Knights Squad at the age of 15.
Noelle is a Silva royal from the clover kingdom and was shortly introduced after Asta joined the Black Bulls. She comes of as arrogant and her Royalty complex is put on to display with her βpeasantβ line to Asta. Also her not being able to control her magic is shown as well.
Noelle starts off as a cocky and arrogant noble girl that looks down on people born with a lower status than her. She denies Asta's acts of friendship towards her by telling him that she did not give him permission to talk to her and she tends to disrespect everything that is not rich in value as can be seen when she calls Magna's broom "lame".
She had difficulties with admitting her own failures and often tried to blame her mistakes or someone else. She had a hard time expressing happiness or excitement over her achievements and distances herself away from everyone.
Noelle is the 1st ever female lead to win the Popularity poll in one of the main mangas in the Shonen Jump.
Noelleβs back story revolves around her family issues. When Noelle was a child she was always looked at as a βfailureβ due her inability to control her magic and was outcasted by her own brother Nozel when he selected to have her join the Black Bulls instead of the Silver Eagles.
Even being outcasted she trained and train to become a better mage. No matter how her family shunned her not only the Silva family but the Vermillions as well. Hence shown in the flash back with Mimosa. This kills the whole idea that Noelle was just spoon fed everything.
Her not being able to control her magic was really a main driving point for her in early BC. From her back story and the way she felt as a mage when she wasnβt hiding behind that βroyalβ facade now letβs talk about Noelleβs development/progression throughout Black Clover.
Noelle was displayed as a arrogant royal that couldnβt control her magic. Her royalty complex was usually shown in her line βIβm a royalβ and her usual referring to Asta as a little insect cause heβs a commoner but we see she has compassion in the village mission w the others.
Getting to the dungeon arc her training was tested a bit in the fight against Lotus. Noelle had to suppress her magic and actually coordinate a attack with Asta and luck, while lotus smoke magic was in play. It was a gradual step for Noelle, small but a good confidence boost.
This scene meant a lot to the start of her development, she acknowledged that Asta was the first commoner she acknowledged which is the start of the her view point on society and what it means to be a βroyalβ. A theme thatβs under valued w her character or just overlooked.
This training Noelle went through until the full moon was important for a couple reasons. It showed that Noelle had family trauma which lead to all her self doubt and showed that no matter how hard the challenge was she persevered and gave it her best.
Even in the star festival Noelle compared to the start of Black Clover changed so much. She was stronger more confident and really understood what it really meant to be a royal in the clover kingdom. She notices the flaws on the out look that society had when it came to that-
This monologue is important cause sheβs honestly reflecting on herself and everything sheβs been through. Plus the different people she came across on her journey. Which you can say isnβt the typical way for a royal to live. Iβm going to touch on that point again later on.
That she isnβt the same push over as before. Also showing the power gap between them lmao which was so satisfying. Even if youβre not a fan of Noelle I donβt see how you wouldnβt like this moment for her
She has her own motives, and determination outside of just liking the MC. Noelle wanted acknowledgement and to get better as a mage in the progress, throughout Black Clover she was able to accomplish both while being a tsundere.
Noelleβs trauma really held her back as we saw through out parts of black clover, and really a big part of her getting better as a character. That over coming that really struck home with me. Her being perseverance is really one of her strongest parts of her character honestly.

The Bride/Beatrix Kiddo" from Kill Bill
Beatrix Kiddo also known as the Bride is the main character of the Kill Bill films by Quentin tarantino.
She was a former member of the "Deadly Viper Assassination squad" led by the enigmatic "Bill" whom The Bride shared a secret romance with. Within the organisation her code name was "Black Mamba", every assassin in the organisation had a code name relating to a snake. The organisation was made up off 6 members (2 men and 4 women).
After finding out she was pregnant with Bill's child she faked her death and ran from the organisation so she could give her unborn a child a clean, safe and happy life. She decided to move to El paso and live a quite life, she eventually met Tommy Plympton and they both decided to get married.
This however didn't turn out so well as Bill and the other members found out she was alive... Bill feeling betrayed by her took the other members of the assassination organisation and decided to ambush and massacre her, Tommy and his friends/family on their wedding rehearsal. Bill shot her in the head and left her for dead... But she Survived!
The Bride woke up from a 4 year coma and realised she had delivered her child during her coma and did not know if her child was alive. Fuelled by rage and vengeance she decided to make a "Kill list" of all the members of the organisation and decided to hunt them all down and kill them.
Watch the 2 films to see how it all plays out lol!

SECOND FIGHT
Nobara Kugisaki
Forewarning
: slight Jujutsu Kaisen spoilers, up until Season 1 of the anime. If you haven't seen the anime yet, do check it out lol. It's really good. Do check out the manga as well, it's really good and is one of the best series on Shonen Jump now.
Nobara Kugisaki is the main female protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen. She is a first-year student and grade 3 jujutsu sorcerer at Tokyo Jujutsu High studying under Satoru Gojo alongside Yuji and Megumi.
Talking about her personality, in my opinion, this is where Nobara shines brightest. She's very passionate and outgoing, but also being extremely blunt, honest, and realistic never really hiding her feelings from anyone, while holding a strong, confident but highly feminine air about her. This is a nice change from being the shy, unconfident, unsure, or tsundere type female lead being designated to one of the protagonistβs love interests or fanservice for dudes.
Even though it isn't shown too much kindness is one of Nobara's greatest strengths such as when a little boy was held hostage she knew that the better outcome would be to not save the boy but she did anyway knowing full well it was a stupid decision. But this trait shines brightest when she is supporting her friends such as when Yuji and Nobara killed the brothers in self-defense, she noticed Yuji was in distress but while still keeping the blunt and honest nature I mentioned earlier in an attempt to not make him feel alone she called herself an accomplice with Yuji to make him feel that he's not alone in what they just committed together, which I never really see in shounen too often in a female lead acting as mental and moral support for the main character and it's very bittersweet in context.
However, nothing touches when Kugisaki is in her element, spitting at the faces that want to generalize or fit her into one category never caring what is deemed "too masculine" or "too feminine" and just doing what the fuck she wants to because it suits her individuality.

Motoko Kusanagi
Major Motoko Kusanagi is a cyborg and the squad leader of Public Security Section 9. She's equipped with human emotions, but has to make a concerted effort at repressing those feelings. Unfortunately for her, the human side of her tends to come out more often than she'd like. Her human brain gives her an advantage over purely robotic does, because she tends to think in unorthodox ways that machines can't compute. She even questions if she has a ghost or soul, hence the title Ghost in the Shell. Overall, she would prefer to become more machine than human. Comfortable with both physical and digital weaponry, Motoko is also comfortable with her female shell and the power she exerts over her cohorts. Battle hardened yet vulnerable, calculated but full of questions, and machine but overwhelming human, Motoko is an amazing character.

THIRD FIGHT
CC from Code Geass
Without death, all we have are random events, accumulation, you canβt call that life! If you have a reason for living, then you have to kill me.
CC is our favorite pizza loving, immortal, best girl from the famous series Code Geass. Her initial introduction to the series was when she was discovered in a capsule by Lelouch from which her first course of action was to sacrifice herself to save Lelouch and proceed to give him his geass.
She later reveals that she saved Lelouch only to have him help her achieve his goal, and doesnβt care much about his crusade. Portraying an indifferent attitude to both, his life and the lives of others. However, this is soon proven false with her consistent, and many sacrifices to save Lelouch each time Lulu was in peril. When Mao wanted to kidnap and torture CC, she obliged to his request and tried to resolve the situation on her own, without involving Lelouch into her problems. She later took it upon herself to end Maoβs life when he decided to inflict damage to Lulu and his family. When Lulu was cornered in Queen Corneliaβs army, she dressed up as Zero to create a distraction and help Lulu escape. She was also the only person capable of understanding Luluβs strife and grief, when he accidentally forced Euphy to kill the citizens, and ended up killing her to stop her madness.
When Lulu lost his memories after the black rebellion, she organized forces for a year to help him reclaim his memories and previous life. However, if you think being an emotional anchor is all she can do, then think again. Though not as good as Kallen or Suzaku, she is still well versed in piloting knightframes and has helped Lulu in his fights against Brittania numerous times. She has stood with him through thick and thin, and has even gone against the whole world for him.
Like a true female lead, she has always been there for the main male lead, and has shared her thoughts, emotions, and torment with Lulu. As the series progresses, her relationship with Lelouch soon goes beyond mere acquaintances, to caring deeply about each other, and eventually falling in love.
[Spoilers for the Lelouch of the resurrection movie]
In the movie, which is set in an alternate timeline after R2. She travels the world with a broken Lelouch hoping to heal him to his full might that he once was. Lelouch being broken, was scared, naΓ―ve and would often be hard to manage, however, she took care of him, cooked, carried all the baggage, and even fought with her life for him. This was after Lelouch had destroyed Cβs world, so CC had limited immortality as well. Still she gave her life for him without a second thought.
Finally, as the movie ended, she wanted to creep away silently, knowing that she accomplished her goal of resurrecting Lelouch to his former glory and returning him to his family. She expected no payment in return for her hard work, and only wanted to see Lulu back again.
Her past was riddled with suffering for centuries, and her only wish was to finally die and lay to rest. However, in truth, she wanted to feel loved again, naturally, before her Geass power made everyone fall in love with her automatically. Her final wish was eventually granted by Lulu at the end of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection, when Lulu chased behind CC and proposed to her. She cried tears of joy, and accepted his proposal. She walked away, hand in hand, with the man she loved.
All Hail Lelouch, and his Queen CC!

Katara
Katara character synopsis
Katara is one of the principal characters in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Set in a world where people can control one of the four elements, the plot follows the adventures of the Avatar Aang β the one person in the world who can control all four elements β as he attempts to defeat the evil Fire Lord and restore balance to the world. As a member of 'Team Avatar' she is one of the protagonists and stars in almost every episode, playing a significant role in helping the Avatar on his quest.
When we first meet her she is a member of the Southern Water Tribe, which at this point of the story is merely a very small village, decimated by the long war with the Fire Nation.
Due to these harsh circumstances Katara had to take on a lot of responsibility, such as taking care of the family and doing multiple chores all day long.
Contrary to what one might expect from such a background, Katara is a very resourceful and also independent character. She can be extremely stubborn and fierce when it comes to achieving a goal.
One of her biggest dreams throughout the series is to become a waterbending master. Being the last waterbender of her tribe, she was essentially self-taught and had no way of acquiring skills from anyone else. On top of this, people (like her lowkey sexist brother Sokka) would discourage her from 'playing around' with water and rather do her household chores.
Despite this, she never gave up on her desire to train waterbending. Eventually, it was Katara's passionate nature and the display of her innate waterbending skills in Episode 1 that triggered the events of the whole series.
Her dream of becoming a better waterbender is highlighted throughout the show. Initially seen as an unimportant 'addition' by her brother, Katara's bending improves to a degree that, after just a short training period with a Waterbending Master at the end of season 1, she is able to teach even Aang, the MC and Avatar, who initially seemed better at waterbending than her.
What I like so much about her waterbending evolution is that it is so believable and well written. We see her train actively, sometimes entire plot points and episodes are centered around her training. We can see her get better and better, see her gradually lose her insecurities and become more and more confident in her skills.
Katara is usually the one who keeps Team Avatar on track and acts as a 'voice of reason'. She is the one staying responsible, trying her best to keep the group together. This is most strongly emphasized in the episode where team Avatar gets lost in the desert. Katara essentially remains the only sane person in the group, acting as the leader. Without her, the group would have never made it.
In many ways, Katara is a traditionally feminine character.
She takes on the role of group mother, provides emotional support for her friends and keeps them all together, acts as a moral compass and even does a lot of the cooking and sewing required for their journey.
Itβs made pretty clear that this is both the result of an upbringing where she had to take on a lot of responsibility after the death of her mother, and the result of growing up in a culture where gender roles are pretty rigid.
However, Katara proves that a feminine personality is not synonymous with 'weakness'.
In no way is Katara a damsel in distress. On many occasions it is her who decides where the group goes, whom they help etc.
One example of this is when the group meets an earthbender character whom Katara quickly bonds with over some experiences they both share. After being taken prisoner by the fire nation in the same episode, Katara decides to rescue him from a fire nation prison ship, convincing her friends to aide her in this mission and subsequently inciting a revolt among the desillusioned prisoners.
On the other hand, Katara is not a StrOnk FeMaLe cHaRactEr either.
Her personality is believable and realistic.
She also actively fights against sexism where it's necessary, particularly when her first waterbending teacher initially refuses to teach her because sheβs a girl.
Instead of submitting to the misogynist restrictions women of the Northern Water tribe are expected to put up with, she instead challenges him, with only the skills she has acquired all by herself.
During their more than impressive fight we can see several women of the tribe -young and old- cheer her on.
Katara has a very clear set of goals that come from a variety of different places.
She does everything with a lot of passion, dedication, and intention. She is always there to protect the people she cares about, and she believes deeply in causes and will give her life to them. Katara doesnβt do anything halfway. She believes in helping other people, not leaving people behind, even those who are not technically on her side (yet).
In a certain sense, Katara can be described as a traditionalist of some sort.
At the same time, she gives new meaning to her cultural heritage.
Particularly shown in her journey of reviving the bending tradition of the southern watertribe by turning into a damn impressive waterbender.
It were her dedication and willpower that made Katara go from a village girl who could barely catch a fish by bending the water which surrounds it, to a powerful badass fighter who takes down one of the main antagonistic figures of the whole show in the series finale.
Katara is by no means a perfect character. Her major flaws revolve around her stubbornness and her emotional side. She can lose her temper over irrational things, has a very rigid moral code that doesnβt allow for a lot of flexibility. This trait makes her butt heads with Toph -the second female leading character- from time to time, whose unruly and essentially opposite personality does not match well with Katara's tendency to mother the rest of the group and abide the law.
In fact her motherly behaviour can be pretty annoying and overbearing but also serves as comic relief.
Because sheβs such a protective and caring person, Katara doesnβt take well to people who betray her or hurt those she cares about. This trait can really hold her back, as it can take her years to come to terms with what the other person has done, let alone forgive them for it, but it is something she tries to work on as the series progresses. In particular, this is shown when...
Katara has been through a lot of traumatic experiences at a young age.
Despite all this, her hope and her sense of moral justice carry her through everything.
Katara believes in a better future after the defeat of the fire Lord and is an idealist. Despite seeing Aang as some sort of 'chosen one' she is not a character that merely submits to a pre determined fate.
Throughout most of the show she is in control of her own destiny β she gets to lead the group on many occasions, decides whether to help the people they meet and picks the battles she wants to fight β but she understands that at times, she will have to put her own goals on hold for the greater good.
Katara is one of the principal characters in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Throughout most of the show she is in control of her own destiny β she gets to lead the group on many occasions, decides whether to help the people they meet and picks the battles she wants to fight β but she understands that at times, she will have to put her own goals on hold for the greater good.
MY FAVE SCENES
She notices the flaws on the out look that society had when it came to that-
That she isnβt the same push over as before.
- Noelle goes from being an Upper-Class Twit who thought her royalty status made her superior to others to a caring young woman who considers it her duty to protect the weak and helpless, even her older siblings. So much so that she comes to believe that royals should help others because they have the best magic in the kingdom.
- She begins as an insecure young woman due to her inability to control her magic, which made her mocked by her older siblings all her life. She becomes a much happier and more confident person after joining the Black Bulls, which helps her control her magic.
- Due to her bad magic control, Noelle starts off as somewhat cowardly, thinking of abandoning Asta and Magna to avoid being killed by Heath and his men, who are trying to massacre a village of peasants. A little girl's plead for Noelle to save them helps her gain the resolve to help her squadmates. And as she develops her magic she becomes much more courageous, to the point she staunchly refuses to give up fighting against Vanica despite their vast difference in power.

VS
Faye Valentine
Sinopsis:
Faye is one of the deutarogonists from Cowboy Bebop. She's really attractive, strong, a bit arrogant, charismatic and have one of the most iconic designs in anime industry.
Faye starts the story as a casino employee due to a huge medical debt. After meeting Spike she manage to escape and joins the main group as a "bounty hunter".
Speaking about the character construction, Faye, like the others protagonists, is a representation of the lack of perspective on life, of the incessant search for something they don't know but which they believe is capable of filling them. That's easily observable through the various habits she presents, such as pathological gambling, alcoholism and excessive cigarette consumption.
However, unlike other characters who are in a dilemma between the present and the past, between looking at what is in front of their eyes and the memories that have left scars on their heart, Faye's case is even more delicate. She doesn't have anything to call "the past" as she suffers from severe amnesia just remembering the last 3 years of her life.
If life's journey is difficult enough for those who have experience, how difficult is it for someone with no memories and no one to support them? Faye tries to find her belonging place in the vastness of the universe when in fact she was already in it, but unfortunately, maybe it was already too late.
It's that, she has much more to speak but i don't wanna to give you much spoilers.
She's human, has failures and make wrong choices like any of us. Faye teach us that no matter if you're a "space cowboy" who travels through planets, asteroids and moons, the really important things can be by your side all this time.
