Yes, I like it mainly for the improvements that they did to the diplomacy. My main problems were that there were too many generic characters (mods fixed this) and unit variety. The DLCs were not that great IMO, and introduced a lot of bugs. Then the devs decided to abandon the game, to work on the second part.
But like I said before, it's a fun game.
