Depends on how long he can maintain it. Asura, for example, temporarily outclassed Kaido and left a scare on him, but we can't say Zoro's a top-tier based on that alone. It works the same for Kid as well as Law; last resorts are last resorts for a reason.

Where has it been proven? I've not once seen a translation where Zoro says 'I at least wanted to knock you out'.

The context of the situation matters. Zoro wanted to knock Kaido down who straight after Zoro's attack was STILL stood up.

The only logical conclusion is Zoro wanted his attack to have the same effect Luffy's next attack did which hurt Kaido and sent him flying on his ass.

Eh not really, Hakai was just too big and Law couldnt shamble everyone at the time, he had to move out of the way with the others.

I mean he technically did move everyone out bro. Zoro had to buy time so that Hakai so that Law could create a room big enough to send the supernova out of Hakai's range.
