Man these fights are really starting to suck ass. Everybody just needs a power up to beat their enemies now apparently.

Law's been using the same kind of moves since forever, and now all of a sudden he now awakens his devil fruit. At the same time Kidd hasn't done much with his devil fruit and all of a sudden he has a powerup.

Luffy literally has Gears 2,3 and 4. Luffy has worked the hardest among the supernovas in improving the usage of his devil fruit, especially given how basic Luffy's devil fruit is compared to the default abilities of Law and Kidd, but for some reason they got awakening before Luffy?? What??

I don't think Oda cares anymore, he's just throwing powerups left and right to the alliance for them to win, while also adding in plots and asspulls to save the alliance from dying. Like are we ever gonna get an explanation of why Luffy's body was glowing while he was drowning in the water after he got knocked out and dumped into the sea by Kaido, but then came back fighting Kaido all of a sudden knowing how to use advanced CoC and infusing it into his attacks??

Law and Kidd's Devil Fruits are far more overpowered than Kata and Doflamingo's

That's not true, Oda has just nerfed them during their fights against Luffy.
Katakuri's mochi is so sticky it's impossible to escape from it without water and Doflamingo's parasite can block and control people as physically sttong as Jaws. They can turn everything into strings/mochi, it's impossible to fight them on land unless you are vastly stronger than them

Yeah.....AP strong enough to stunn Boundman Luffy would only tickle Kid. What AP has he shown that hurts Katakuri, assuming he can even touch him in the first place since his speed feats are atrocious

Probably Oda didn't want to go more info details of awakening since he want to reveal it later. We need to see what Law meaning about awakening this chapter.

It would be because they are not familiar with it. I'm pretty sure Kidd wouldn't have been able to train awakening since he was in Udon seastoned. They pro awakened due to dire situation

I hope he will work on the exhaustion problem but still Oda has to keep his hax nerfed it seems, a necessary evil.

Both fighters knew that they had those abilities available. They're a last resort technique due to their inexperience just like Asura. I also don't see people go around claiming that Zoro is now a Low Top Tier despite him badly damaging Kaido.

The price of the Ope Ope no mi is mainly so high for the Government because it's linked to the treasure of the holy land and because it can give you eternal youth.

Not every ability of it must now be on another level.

Last ressort just mean something used when you have no choice left. It's more similar to how G4 was a last ressort for Luffy post-skip where he only firstly used it in dressrosa, with it being a mode lasting a long while but coming with drawback.

So there are few differences between Zoro and Kid/Law
- Zoro's Asura so far is only used for temporarily attacks when Kid/Law's awakening is a mode
- Advanced color of conqueror played a role in scarring Kaido, something Zoro can only subconsciously use yet

So Zoro can temporarily be claimed to be low top tier when he subconsciously use coc+Asura, but it's not something he mastered yet, hence why he is rated below. Kid / Law however can freely use their mode longer than Zoro to hang on with those levels of power
