I was hoping Kidd and Law would get power ups that allowed them to rival Luffy as well but nah, Oda screwed them over for Luffy

At this point, I'm hoping that through the course of their fight, they learn to master their awakenings and use them as freely as doffy and kata did.

Zoro literally announced he's gonna attack him before charging at Kaido, the strongest character in the series. He still ended up succeeding with Kaido being unable to do anything to prevent him. Any character who wouldn't chose to downright avoid fighting Asura is getting hit.

yeah im sure they will, but it won't be like Luffy vs kaido

without advanced haki, they can't do serious damage to big mom. Its why I say they're going to throw her off onigashima or make her explode with the basement weapons. Probably both.

could be but based on panel there is a smoke coming out of Kaido mouth which is more inclined towards Luffy using barrier haki to defend that attack...because Oda used same shading for ryou/barrier in udon training.....
