Dont forget about this one too Shanks :)

As you can see the left eye has 3 scars, only shanks has that trait.
We can confirm that shanks is indeed a swordman and will be under the grandmaster goat Roronoa Zoro:kata:

It is interesting to see that Shiliew appears in a lot of them. I guess Oda does not think it is necessary to be mysterious about who Zoro will fight in BB’s crew.

What is also interesting is the fact that Zoro was always the focus of this color page. And I guess if Oda let go the Shimotsuki’s covers it is because it might have spoil too much.

Last thing apparently, Kiku and Kinemon are the most important scabbards for Zoro. Which explained his rage after seeing Kiku’s arm.

Seems like Oda always intended for a Zoro spread to commemorate his birthday month, and decided to settle on a Right Hand Men theme. The others seem to be a swordsman theme and characters important to Zoro.

The inclusion of Kin and Kiku makes sense. They are the Scabbards Zoro knows the most, and clearly regards as friends. Ushimaru's ties to Zoro become even stronger.

A lot of those drafts, I would've preferred over the final. So many that include the Captain (who is in both the Important and Swordsman spreads), and they just seem more exciting in composition.

These people are dumb. It is like saying zoro will never surpass milhawk.
Zoro wil surpass fujtora. He is swordman, and blind guy.
Watch oda tell us vista is actually stronger than Marco or even king, yonko fans and milhawk haters will lose their mind.

Still think its weird not one of them included hiyori or yasu but a have kinemon and kiku. Like he obviously cares about them too but both hiyori and yasu seem to have a bigger inpact and more meaningful interactions. Especially if zoro ends up with her
