It's pretty clear that these two wont fight each other. The reason why that line about them fighting each other was thrown in is because it alludes to both characters having fights even after beating king and queen

Zoro fans excuses when he loses to Sanji:

- Zoro was fighting King at extreme diff and King is stronger than Queen.
- Zoro just got double damage by the magic serum he took.
- Enma is nerfing Zoro by taking his Haki.
- Zoro is only fighting with 2 swords because King broke Sandai.
- Zoro is thinking about saving energy to kill Kaido so he didn't use all his energy in the Sanji fight.
- Sanji is cheating because he's taking no damage.

Sanji fans EXCUSES when he loses to Zoro:
