Well, Kaido > Big Mom in durability.

Kidd did indeed not give damage in the roof. But Big Mom is an another thing, she can be damaged with strong attacks without advanced armament.
Has this been showed before? I mean when BM is using her haki coat, she didn't got damaged at all. Only when she drops it she is able to receive some damage. In that case we have no clue about she dropping her haki coat to receive damage from fucking metals.

Mmm so are you saying sh has equal durability to kaido if she uses haki?

It’s because during the rooftop, awakening was literally their ultimate move. They said so themselves.

They didn’t have the mastery to spam it like they did against Shanks/BB. They gained that mastery during the BM fight.

Anyways, y’all need to learn to read better, instead of calling everything “shitty writing”. It was literally explained why they didn’t use it on the roof.

Their awakenings ended up being parlor tricks, Kaido would run through them like a fucking train, add BM and they're done just like before.
Except that they weren't done at Rooftop that's why they could still fight after that.

They didn't spammed anything at post-Wano Yonko fights. Kid used just once his awakening(Actually we are not even sure if Damn Punked is his awakening or not) while Law we just saw him using what? Once or twice his awakening? Law was the only saying about not using it many times yet he used more than he told he could. Kid never said that because he isn't the type of revealing his weakness to possible future enemies(Law).

It was a poor excuse that makes no fucking sense.

They said if wasn't for Zoro they would have lost already at Hakai. If anything that should be enough trigger for them to go all out like Luffy was doing since beginning. What kind of strategy it is to lost a fight without even giving your all?

No shit, Kaido never went after them, they only had to deal with BM's homies. Kidd had no answer to Kaido's moves, wind blades, boro breath, dragon twister, Law was nowhere to be seen during these attacks, they were spared from the "fanservice" and in turn got a "fanservice" win.
Kaido's final attack - blazing bagua - massive fire dragon coated with conqueror's haki
BM's last 2 moves - a combo homie that was negged by a basic sword slash and armament haki punches. :kobeha:
