It's not the end of the world I guess. I more like wanted to suggest that an optimal play should involve not ignoring any player since that equates to be able to read all posts like a Mafia game at least morally obliges. Of course if someone is a sub they won't necessarily read all posts but I imagine ignoring an user all the time from the beginning would be too much. An optimal play would realistically require to read all game posts, expecially if you are not a sub.
My favourite type of Mafia is the one played by the intellectuals who don't post one liners and then tend to be as analytical as possible without overdoing post count wise.
I think this place would be so much much much better if more Ratchet, Zemmi, Light, Professor types of players existed. It would arguably become the best Mafia Site on the planet at least from my personal expectations. Of course it's my idea.
It's rather uncomfortable to have to go through pages filled with one liners of spam that barely contribute to the game. It's much better to post juicy posts but reduce quantity. Quality > Quantity for Mafia. I have never been a quantity Mafia player despite I'm elsewhere because if there's a very good trait about my play is that I did never see all that posting useful, just confusing and mind racking.

I'm picturing them as Data Scientists trying to analyse the Big Data = Mafia Thread Contents and then come up with intriguing results, but as the serious cool people who just need a few posts to come up with a breakthrough instead of posting 600 one liners of fluff a game.

Too serious is not right, it's still a game and not a real life contest to get a new job or something, but I feel it would be ok if even Role Madness games never broke past 3000 posts per game if this equated to threads being filled with plenty of juicy and rich posts rather than doubling to 6000 but having the majority featuring sterile fluff.
I always thought one fundamental point of Mafia was efficiency, which means minimizing unnecessary content in order to have less entropy in the system and play a smoother game which I think would naturally be more fun. The fluff feels like disrupting the atmosphere of the intensity of the game imo which is about analyzing data and searching for patterns, but fluff sounds like a distortion of the natural process and not a way to nurture the healthy flow of the game, of course it can be sometimes useful in order to render the atmosphere of the game less heavy, but it's been vastly overdone so far imo.

a middle ground would be nice
if u want a game where everyone tries and posts essays n stuff, certainly WG isnt the place
the community here are mostly younger players that are into anime and play mafia cuz they like the flavor and wanna mash abilities around and have fun with their peers. its inevitable to fluff here. its the norm lol
there r other competitive communities out there were games r more serious and pay less emphasis on flavor and rather more emphasis on mafia itself. the games honestly feel dry. u can try make an account on maf universe and play a game or 2 and tell me what u think
Missed this post. Yes I’m from there. But as for 10p don’t have much idea because it got discontinued long time ago and I have never seen one in real other than photo.
