I believe BM was content ruling Totland and collecting tribute most of the time, which explains all the SC's low bounties compared to their counterparts.

I agree with this in part - for Katakuri yes. For the other SC's, I don't think so.

IMO Oda looks at the yonko commanders in a pretty simple manner - the stronger ones and the weaker ones. The strong ycs have bounty over a billion and are competent. The weak ycs have less than a billion. Jack is the only exception but we were told his bounty is inflated.

I disagree, you are trying to single out Jack when he is in the same crew as the other two. No reason to believe theirs arent inflated due to their rep, their Boss having the highest alive bounty, and their overall destructive tendencies.

Because there is probably a trick when it comes to harming King. Kaido is hyped as the unkillable monster in the series. Not King. Hence Zoro said he just has to figure out. It's similar to Katakuri seemingly being intangible against Haki attacks, where Luffy had to figure out the secret.

The evidence says otherwise. Kaido is still tough despite King being tougher.
Overall Kaido is superior, his stamina is significantly better, probably.

But they didn't significantly harm Kaido.

Except they did. How long are you going to deny that Oden's hit and Zoro's hit are attacks that harmed Kaido the most?
