It doesn't matter what version of King it is, the outcome is still the same. Oden kills King.
Kaido is still traumatized of Oden to this day and Oden was compared to Shanks, Xebec, Roger, and Prime Whitebeard. King has no chance of defeating Oden lmao.
Also I find it hilarious that you think Zoro has been more impressive than Oden when Zoro didn't have any idea on how to control Enma until last chapter while Oden has been controlling Enma since he was a child.
Can't beileve you watched King rocking Zoro's ass for 5 chapters and Zoro struggling to control Enma and somehow came to the conclusion that Zoro is stronger than Oden before chapter 1033.
Zoro will surpass Oden once he makes Enma black and not a chapter earlier.

EoS Oden's greatest wins are young Asura Doji and mid level Kaido. If you don't think King and Kaido back to back in present day are better feats then you simply won't listen to reason. Zoro will unquestionably be above Oden by the end of this story and only challenged by Mihawk, Shanks, and Shiryu. Ryuma has a 75% chance of coming back in spirit form to wank him.

It was Oden and his own skill with his blades. I really doubt Kaidou wasn't experienced back then, that just sounds like bullshit to me. The God's Valley Island w/e incident happened much longer ago than that. Kaidou was already tough enough by 20 years ago.

20 years is one hell of a time span for someone like Kaido to make significant growth. Remember that he told Oden if he allied with those bitchass Daimyos he most likely wouldn't take Wano under his iron fist.
All Zoro has to do with Oden is about mastering Enma. Fully taming it. Oden fought weaker and less experienced version of Kaido who didn't even use Hybrid + their fight was so fucking short it probably wasn't longer than Yamato vs Kaido on the roof.
Oden is hella overhyped. The only thing he had is that he got it easy with taming Enma, still couldn't forger black blade.
Remember that plot doesn't work for Kaido like it does for Luffy, Zoro and etc. He really needed that grind to reach Yonko status.

Be that as it may, You can not dismiss the placement Oda is putting on him. You would be denying canon for you own desires.

Current Zoro is indeed still weaker than Oden, but it seems as if Zoro just properly awakened Haoshoku for the first time:

Haoshoku Zoro using Dead Man's Game on Kaido now would be a very different story.
- Rooftop Zoro before unlocking Haoshoku had a more impressive performance than Luffy before unlocking Haoshoku.
- 1 hour after unlocking Haoshoku, Luffy already has Emperor class Haoshoku.
