This is because the marine characters were introduced much earlier in the series. It can clearly be seen that Oda's losing steam as he gets older.

Admirals are cooler and more in depth characters. Fujitora has a better character than Kaido/Big Mom. And we’ve spent 30-40 chaps with Fuji and the whole Post timeskip with Kaido meme

Marines reign supreme, plain and simple.

Luffy and Zoro have to go through Yonkos before they stand a chance against the Admirals. That alone explains itself. :cheers:

Katakuri is way better than Cry Mom. Oda should have let Cry Mom drawn in the sea and bring Kata as the new Yonko

Oda dropped the ball hard on Yonkos. Unless Teach is a GOAT villain, Yonkos will be remembered permanently as a gang of mistakes (more so than they already are).
