In addition, Kaido, in canon material, has only been referred to as the 'King of Beast', on multiple instances, whilst never referred to as the WSC

If someone wants to bring up that panel, I'll just stop them preemptively and inform them that it was a comment made by an editor and does not appear in the Viz.


Now, I'll present a direct comparison with both Mihawk and Whitebeard. I won't elaborate here, because I've written everything in the panels themselves.

1. We still dont know what changed, cause Kaidos Story will come later, when he gets fighted in the actual time.

2. It wasnt stated Oden would be the only one able to kill him. Even tho, roger was already dead in the actual scenary.

What we saw so far was, he played dirty with Oden, something pirates do. He followed his Goal, not caring about if it is fair. You guys seem to forgett what the theme from one Piece is.

Man you can't get the point... in the manga it spiceficly said that blade was broken when they tried to cut his hed, that spiers couldn't penetrate him etc. It was heavily implied that Kaido can't die. I anderstend that in 20 years can happen a lot but no matter what it's can't save anything.

Kaidou is already lacking when it comes to brain and has barely been part of the arc so far. That role of mastermind is being played by Orochii, and so it was atleast expected of Kaidou to cover that up with his monstrous strength. And I don't think Kaidou deceiving Oden to win the battle is bad, it rather adds to his character. But the idea that Kaidou would have lost otherwise, that imo don't do Kaidou justice.
Anyway, i probably should wait for chapter to drop out, before concluding things. Maybe there's a catch in the battle.

Atleast we can generalise how much Oda wanks PK crew, even 3rd or 4th strongest Member could take on present Yonkou and give him the wound of his life.
The way i see it Oda is moving towards M3 vs Admirals in the future. WB crew fought em and so will SHs, that is fated battle of Onepiece. And maybe that might also not be end, and those Gorosie could also have secret of their own, like using Bonney to go back in their Prime, with Im Sama being the Ultimate fight for Luffy.
