- Oden was YC1 lvl
- Both were equal to each other
- Kaido 25 years ago didnt have the forces needed to defeat Oden and the Scarbbards
- Now he does and his crew defeated the scarbbards.


- At the end of the day even if Oden beat Kaido extreme diff.....King wouldve finished Oden off.

- Beast Pirates wouldve won either way

I hope you really enjoy this and I hope that you right about one piece but for me it was dead since the beginning of Wano arc. Big Mom's amnesia, Queen not throwing Big mom into the woter despite the fact that Bog mom is their enemy and Kaido was ready to kill her, and now this shit. I hoped that things will change, I hoped that Wano still can be great during the war etc. But this is the lost thing I can bear I can't wach a story in which things and actions of characters have no logical sense.

For me it makes sense. Maybe your taste just changed and One Piece is not anymore the right Thing for you. Or maybe you just want to dislike it somehow (which is kinda modern nowadays to dislike everything).

And even 5 years later he had to take him down with a distraction

On the other hand, Kaido implied his inferiority 5 years ago but after 5 years he equally (!) matched Oden. Imo this is an indication that Kaido simply grew stronger in which he finally matched Oden.

After this information, it is highly likely that current Kaido is the prime Kaido and the Kaido 20 years ago was still growing in strength.

In the panel Kaido clearly already had his Scar, while Oden had nothing, it's clear that Oden got the better of him.
