It is Enma properties allowed both swords to damage Kaido.

This is why Oda gave the hype to Enma not ame no hakibari!

but so does ame no habakiri
because enma may draw haki does not mean ame no habakiri does the same leaving the common denominator as oden just being a capable fighter. hiyori would mention enma to zoro because thats the one she inherited.

who else knew about the attack? the red scabbards and Shinobu , Shinobu knew about the attack because she was spying on Oden and the others she is high skilled , and people like Oden usually didn't get betrayed by people they know very well. Shinobu appeared there from no where , just like Kaido knew about the attack . i am pretty sure the red scabbards didn't betray Oden more it was some one who spying on him and that is shinobu

Kaido was flaming the battleground, he didn't seem focused on Oden at all. It might have been the shockwave that pushed him backwards.

Now let's make an excuse it was on the head

When luffy got hit by the head with a named attack
"Luffy is weak, trash, Top tiers will tank that"

Oden struck on the head and KOed from a nameless strike
"Nah sneak attack , it was on the back of his head etcm.."

Who says if Oden was facing Kaido, he wouldnt still be KOed if the attack connects clean?

She had inner dialogue when X Drake trying to do body checking in bath scene "did someone leak our plan"

He thinks Kaido was focused on Oden alone

While in fact, Kaido was just flaming the battleground,
Oden gets blown by boro breath.
Then that's where Oden calls out or talks to Kaido (who was facing somewhere else, we even see Kaido silhouette facing the other side when Oden is on his knee)
