I think Zoro = Luffy arguments are basically dead at this point.

If current Gear 4 can beat hybrid Kaido around like a Piñata I don’t think we can say Luffy and Zoro are close anymore.

Even their crews are not up to the task. What good is it to add rivals to Luffy when Luffy already has his rival and enemy opposed to the member of the D Teach clan aka Blackbeard

To me they were just 1 tier below Luffy, its a 2v1 but Big mom is in much better shape than the Kaido Luffy is 1v1ing. But if they lose then Law goes back to just being Luffy's side hoe and Kid....well he is already trash but he would become even more of a meme

Totally different situations. No one was in danger from Zoro vs Mihawk. It was like a school fight, and Zoro got clapped then everyone started laughing. Then he cried at his best mate because he was such a weakling before going to the gym
