I actually get it now, Zoro fans are generally okay with Luffy being stronger. What they can’t come to terms with is how Zoro will rank amongst Luffy’s opponents as well. Like Kaido, BB, Akainu, and Imu.
It’s okay for me to put all these guys in the same tier, but Zoro fans want affirmation that Zoro is equal or only slightly worse than Luffy and to be solid top 2 in rankings. It’s hard for that to be the case when Luffy goes up against these characters extreme diff.

Are you new here??? They believe Luffy is inferior to Zoro. You even have some going as far as saying current Luffy can't defeat Pica and Mr 1 from Alabasta. They also believe Zoro will end up stronger than WB:yasu:

Zoro will be the strongest swordsman ever in one piece. So above wbs equal. And by extension wb

the basis for comparison is blurrier with older legends like ryuuma and roger
with oden you can be sure he will be better with enma, making it a black blade

I mean you're free to interpret that how you want to. But in my mind reaching the heavens means indisputably leaving a legendary mark on the history of earth that even the heavens will know of you. Not every wss leaves such a mark on history, otherwise every generation another random person reaches such a lofty claim.

I see Zoro essentially as a second shounen mc, and you know how it is for mc's. I'm also not arguing that Zoro is stronger than Luffy if it feels like I'm overwanking Zoro.

Kaido and BM didn't show internal destruction either but that doesn't mean his CoA potency is above them lol. Internal Destruction is an advance application of it, but it doesn't make your general CoA potency better lol. Zoro's CoA potency feats vs Kaido are above Luffy's general CoA feats. As for barrier, Zoro showed it, too. His feats of CoA against Kaido + the hakai feat is head and shoulder above Luffy's feats while using same variation of CoA. Sure, he has internal destruction, and that's advance stuff, but it doesn't translate into CoA potency. Zoro's CoA can still be more potent without ID.

Luffy was huffing and puffing in 10 minutes into fight vs Katakuri, too. Characters huff and puff all the time lol. It doesn't mean Luffy's more enduring- Thriller Bark proved that Zoro's pain tolerance and endurance is far more monstrous than King stuff.


No scabbards outside of Sulong Neko, Inu and the combined Togen Totsuka (which had Sulong Inu) managed to cut Kaido's dragon scales, no?

Current Luffy is more damaged and fatigued than current Kaido.
Make both of them fresh and give Luffy his CURRENT UNDERSTANDING AND POWERLEVEL and it becomes an easier fight for Luffy.

Damaging Marco permanently has nothing to do with Ryuou. He can heal every possible wound and even non-Ryuou attacks will damage him.
Here Marco was getting tired so he couldn't heal these injuries.
