If Marines are defeated in 2 cour in between beating BBP and RHP, I hope we all get Luffy vs Ryokugyu & Zoro vs Fujitora after Wano before getting Luffy vs Teach & Zoro vs Shanks in Raftel and finally Luffy vs Akainu & Zoro vs Kizaru in Marineford.

And then close out the series with Zoro vs Mihawk in the epilogue.

But we have zero indications of Kizaru being the second strongest Admiral, like none whatsoever. So Zoro vs Kizaru is pure headcanon with no solid evidence, especially when there's another Admiral who is a real swordsman.

If anything, one could argue that the fact only Kuzan and Akainu were considered for the Fleet Admiral position is a hint of Kizaru being the third strongest Admiral pre TS (of course the real reason could be that he wasn’t interested) and he remained the third strongest post TS to not break the established hierarchy.

That was 2 years ago, Zoro was nearly dead and Kizaru was targeting the whole crew. How is it more meaningful then Zoro vs Fujitora, which already happened at Dressrosa and is way more recent ?

Zoro always fighting right hand men is irrelevant since Kizaru isn't one.

Kizaru's sword is just his light power with a fancy name for this technique, nothing more. Fujitora duelled with Zoro in a real sword fight and Zoro expressed his desire to fight him a second time.
