Be honest, I can´t decide much, one side is underwhelmed of the fight, the other part like it though because he know Oda hint the power of Kaido for later so it beeing okay for this battle. Overall the clash wasn´t bad but I didn´t really feel it to be honest, after seeing how amazing Roger and Whitebeard was I little expect more for Oden vs Kaido.
The Flashback and Oden as character overall are for me still the best, I have different opinion as the others who don´t really like the flashback, in my opinion their will be later a major point why Oden do all the things and a big twist(probably).
For the fight I expect more but at this point I will have lower expectations for fights overall in One piece in the future who aren´t happening in the climax of the arc, the last chapter feel like it was kinda rushed(my opinion) and I expect to much at this point after reading the hype text at the end of chapter 969. I don´t even say that the battle was kinda lame, it was okay but not the one which I most like expect.^^
Your though?

Remember my post of the sold number for Kimetsu no Yaiba?
Almost three-four weeks later and that is their current sold number:
Dude in three weeks they jump from 12,882,297 to 17.925.841 and right now it take the 5th highest number in all of Oricon with only 4 numbers made by ONE PIECE in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. It's pretty likely by next week Kimetsu no Yaiba will reach that 4th position.
One piece best record is 37Mio who is also the number one and best one, but if KnY really continue with this large jump, im sure it will take and beat One piece even in this category and take the first place and make his own record...
Bro it just insane how skyjump KnY did in the last years, how much a anime studio can help much the manga, it literally shows here that the anime and the one who working on it are matter. I hope in One piece case Toei can help up One piece and Oda more with good episodes for the next month. For sure KnY deserve all these numbers, amazing manga in my opinion.
The last two years wasn't really good for OP but in same time bad either. All the last 5years One piece always sell over 10mio each year. But last year it get beaten by KnY and this year One piece sold aren't even a match for KnY lol. KnY already won this year in my opinion, the question is more. Will KnY beat One piece most sold year with 37mio with is also the most best saled year of all mangas? If yes KnY gonna take the most sold manga of anytime. Losing each year for one piece isn't the biggest issue, but it would be kinda bad if they lose the most sold record this year, would be kinda sad for One piece overall.

That is all because of the anime. KnY now makes so much money, but that doesn't mean one piece is done for. Now that the One Piece anime has improved in Wano, I think it can make a comeback, especially when the real fight against Kaido on Onigashima begins.
There is a possibility that KnY beats One Piece's sales record, but we will have to wait and see.
