Lets discuss one of the most awesome manhuas.

We can talk about new chapters, awesome moments in the series, future speculation and any theories we may have.

This manga is based off the famous novel The Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Takes place during in the Three Kingdoms period of China. Like Kingdom/Vinland Saga, it follows historical events while adding it's own twist to characters.

It has a heavy focus on military strategy and tactics and warfare. There are tons of mind games, and the strategists often take advantage of things like the weather, troop supply, moral etc. There's also tons f political drama and disputes between clans

It also has really good art, kind of reminds me of a combination between Vagabond and Kingdom's art:

Tagging some people who might be interested in picking this up: @RayanOO @LANJI CUCKSMOKE @Kromage911 @Blackbeard @Da evil Who @Light D Lamperouge @General Duke Hyuo @Zoro D Goat @solis etc

@Yo Tan Wa do you know anyone else on the site who reads this story?

Some of the scans have sketchy translation and mediocre scan quality just to warn y'all

Imo its strategic moves are more detailed and crazy compared to Kingdom in the terms of strategy. The core theme in this manhua-manga is deception itself, how to deceive your enemy in wars while not being deceived in return. The physical aspects of war itself is much less blatant, explosive or gory compared to Kingdom. But the strategic and tactical plot twists are clearly more intricate, its the most strategy-heavy comic i've ever read. I remember going wtf in Lu Bu-centric chapters lol.

Tho i dont agree with Sima Yi being the best strategist here, portrayed to be arguably even better than Zhuge Liang, i dunno where the author took that notion from...but my fave here is definitely Lu Bu. He's not just a idiotic brute, in here he's also a genius in tactics but he abandoned it to display his power, he's truly majestic :steef:

The art looks awesome but story-wise it doesn't look interesting to me, sorry.
It is. It's based on famous Romance of Three Kingdoms. Unless you are not into this genre there's no chance this is lacking somehow story-wise.

It's okay though if you are not interested in reading it. Starting chapters also might be tough so half-heartily reading it just won't work.

Historically yes Zhuge Liang is regarded the greatest of his era. But not always the most believed or popular opinion is the right one.

Unlike Zhuge Liang, who didn't have his own malicious ambitions and acted loyal to Royal Uncle Lui Bei who had but the support of people, Sima Yi was but one traitor who ended up on the throne with many betrayals. I wouldn't be surprised if he was heavily condemned and criticised for his actions in historical records due to same.

I mean the very synopsis of this story is Sima Yi is a merchant who just wanted to benefit from the war, got entangled in it to ultimately achieving the entirety of China and the throne. The notion how he could have been smartest based on these very achievements is very possible uyuu.

Lu Bu and brute Brother of Bui Bei Zhang Fei are perfect example how author own interpretations in the end make more sense than the common notions that such two popular Generals of that era could actually have been stupid and just strong.
Same, the battle of Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi is one that is going to continue over to end of Ravage of Time Manhwa. We shouldn't rush to the conclusion here, author most likely will do justice to his own interpretations of these two Strategists. What we both can agree for now is that both were one of the smartest genuises of that era.

My Kingdom bros..., Ravages of Times author abuses this Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" that was referenced few chapters back in Kingdom. Get on the hype:steef:
honestly ... Sun Tzu himself wouldn't be among the top 5 of 3 Kingdom Era

3 Kingdom Era is the highlight of China history when all the greatest , strongest and smartest existed

any loyal story about that era can match all times greatest

p.s
it's interesting that you mention "art of war" by Kingdom :)
art of war is among all times most famous books already

I had heard of this when I first started reading Kingdom. How it's extremely similar to Kingdom, but goes into even more details with the strategies and other aspects of war. But like Kingdom, no official English release, and messy translations at time. I wasn't sure how bad it really was, so never checked it out.

What's the best site to read it on?
I read it long time back so actually I don't remember which one i read. But this one is considered good

I tried it multiple times but each time I got lost. It was hard to navigate on what's going on. Art is good though.
