It's still a special sword in the sense that it even has a name. You can add Cracker's sword and the legendary Cavendish swords. Maybe the swords are not included in the "wazomono" grading system but they should be comparable in quality to the 2nd class swords like Wado etc.

If they been named but not given that title no point in assuming. Like we know laws swords name is kikoku but it was explicitly stated not to be a meito. We also know brooks swords
If its a meito oda will tell us if not now eventually. So no assuming doesn't really do much
